So the other park will be open? So new to universal. I was hoping to convert one ticket to annual pass if not a lot more (got undercover tourist) but Mayb I will have to do all five...Get an annual pass or go to IOA?

Ok I guess I'm used to late Disney hours! Thank you for putting my mind at ease! The event isn't until 8 PM - you're only missing out on an hour at one park. I've been to Universal three times and it's always been at times of year where USF closes at 7 if not earlier. 8 PM is nothing to be upset about.
Also i would never mess with any sellers other than Disney or Universal. Just not worth any issues at the gate for a few dollars in savings.

Yes, the other park should be working under normal hours. I'll be honest I've never converted anything as the annual pass is always a better value for me. Also i would never mess with any sellers other than Disney or Universal. Just not worth any issues at the gate for a few dollars in savings.
thanks! so much conflicting info. I got the UT buy 2 get one free and when I get there I will upgrade to annual pass if not a lot and then I will have no worries!August is fine. No block out dates.

People have been reporting success with upgrading that ticket from Undercover Tourist for nothing. Apparently, a 3 day ticket and an AP cost the same right now, so they’ve been able to basically do an even exchange. There’s a thread on here where this was discussed in depth very recently if you want to check it out.
There are several 100% bonafide discount ticket places. No issues. One of them a few years ago (undercovertourist) actually fixed issues that Disney employees had caused.
And it’s often not just a few dollars..
For the most part Disney is only open until 9:00 that time of year too (Animal Kingdom closes at 8:30 even). It's lower season so the hours are shorter than mid-summer. We will be at Universal that weekend too, but there for parts of 3-4 days (Friday afternoon to Monday morning) and a seasonal pass cost the same as 3 days, so I bought that and was pretty stoked to see recently that it means extra hours for us then with this event, plus a 10% restaurant discount as part of the passholder appreciation days.Ok I guess I'm used to late Disney hours! Thank you for putting my mind at ease!
