Thanks, everyone! It feels great to hear the "welcome homes!"

Yes, we paid closing costs and we also paid for the remaining costs for the 224 points for this year.

The contract was originally up for $75 /pt. and we offered $72 and the seller accepted right away. We were willing to go up to the full asking price, however.

Kinda funny how our guide at DVC was saying how we probably wouldn't pass ROFR and now they're selling the same contract for $17/pt higher. No, thank you... we'll take our "bargain basement price" of $72!

I'm so happy for you. I only hope we're as lucky! Our offer of $71 was accepted by the seller for BWV with 26 banked and 350 coming this Dec uy. We'll, if we get it, be paying all MF's for this year as well as all closing which would basically put it at $77.03 per point. We're crossing our fingers and the fact that your contract sounds so similar to ours gave us hope. Jason didn't think there would be a problem but you never know. Please send any leftover pixie dust you may have!

Congratulations!!! You have even a better deal than what we have onthe table...we have 250 points at BCV, 194 points coming in Feb, settled on 73.00/point...we went to ROFR on Friday, so you have given me hope that maybe we will get through all of this stuff afterall!!!

Right of First Refusal. For any DVC resale, Disney has the right of first refusal. If the deal is too attractive, they can opt to buy the contract from the seller under the agreed upon terms effectively shutting the perspective buyer out of the deal.
