Where have you bought your tickets through? And were you satisfied? I am so paranoid that I will purchase ours and then we will get there and they won't work...

I think that is the way I am leaning... ;)

I think that you will find that you will be "safe" buying from any of the ticket brokers mentioined time and again on this board - FloridaOrlandoTickets and Ticketmania to name a few. I have yet to hear of someone purchasing tickets from these places who had any trouble using their tickets.
I would say that if you can save money at one of these brokers then you will be safe purchasing from them.
Of course, you can do a search on this board on a particular seller, or post a question before you buy.
I understand your nervousness, but I have learned through personal experience (I used FloridaOrlandoTickets) and all that I have read that there ARE authorized brokers of Disney ticktes that CAN save you money. I would just steer clear of buying tickets from individual that you do not know - ie on Ebay.
Hope that this helps! :)

Thanks Beth! That does help... I was not aware that they were authorized brokers... I am also glad to hear that they have been used with no bad luck! Thanks, again!!

We bought our tickets from FloridaOrlandoTickets and had a wonderful experience. We picked them up at their office on 192 to save on the shipping and handling charges. They will ship to your house ($?) are to your hotel ($10) if you want. I also bought a Gatorland ticket while I was there. We only needed a child's pass and their price was cheaper than at the gate. The guy that waited on me was VERY nice. We got talking about dogs and such. I had a hard time pulling myself away to go to Gatorland, but DH and DS were waiting in the car for me. LOL I bought when they had the 4 plus option tickets for sale and it was a great deal! That sale is over, but keep an eye on these boards for other sales.

We bought my DS and nephew's at TDS. Ours were from front gate. The only problem with this is, when DS lost his fanny pack with his hopper in it with 2 days left on it:eek: Ticket counter could not trace it on their computer! I went to Guest Services who was unable to look it up on computer, took my word for it and gave me a new complimentary one with the 2 days. Guess she could tell by the desperation in my voice that I was legit. I think they can only trace ones bought directly from them, not the store:confused:

Why did that CM tell me that? It sounded odd at the time:confused:

Sure does and I have no idea why. I am just glad they replaced the ticket for you. They don't have names on them, just numbers, did you have the number? If not, there would be no way to trace it.

I had the receipt and the numbers. Also showed them my nephew's just in case the numbers were in sequence. BTW we got the fanny pack back. FW called me when we got home, I told them what we had lost, they said that's what they found and mailed it up in 2 days. :D

I bought 6 day PHPs through connections, saving a measurable amount of money since there are 5 of us and I can assure that the passes are absolutely fine. We used all 6 days and 1 plus. The only problem, though it wasn't a problem for me, was that my CC company called to say that Connections tried to run the charge through twice. I said no, only once, and the double charge was never on a bill - never heard of it again. I even had no trouble cancelling the membership.

We used 6-day hoppers I purchased from Paramount International Travel (website at disneyareainfo.com). No problems at all! After we had used them a couple of days, I stopped at the customer service booth outside AK to verify the days left and the tickets were exactly right. We may not use the remainder of the days & plusses for a couple of years (we live on the West coast!) so I just wanted to verify.

We also got breakfast vouchers included with our purchase of the 6 day hoppers, and we used these at the Poly (O'hana's character breakfast) without a problem. The vouchers we got listed every on-site breakfast I could think of except for the new Princess breakfast at Akershus (it INCLUDED Cindy's castle). They expire May 2003. Our hoppers were a great deal even without the breakfast, but the breakfast saved us another $70 or so (the vouchers include the tax & tip!).

Don't be nervous about buying from a reputable re-seller - it's worth the money you save! Just for extra insurance, I'd recommend paying with a credit card, and verifying the passes once you arrive.

Have fun!

The numbers on a Disney Store receipt are universal product codes, not serial numbers for the passes. If you bought two of the same ticket, you will notice that there are two numbers that are identical on your receipt.

If you want to be safe, photocopy the back of any passes you buy. There is a series of numbers and codes across the top which can be used to trace the card.
