We're headed for VWL for 6 nights next week.
There will be 4 adults and 2 children ages 2 and 3.
What Park Pass options are avaliable at VWL?
Is there any advantage to purchasing them through VWL?
Any idea on the current costs?

Thanks!
:)

All the resorts sell hoppers or length of stay passes (now called the "Ultimate Park Hopper"). The parks sell hoppers but not length of stays. The hoppers come in 4,5, 6 or 7 day versions, one of the 5's and the 6 and 7's have "plusses" meaning entries to waterparks, Pleasure Island, or Wide World of Sports. The length of stay pass gives you entries to all things requiring tickets-- parks, waterparks, Disney Quest, Pleasure Island and Wide World of Sports-- for your entire length of stay. The resort will allow you to leave off arrival or departure date from the LOS if you can't use it one those days. The hoppers never expire (unused days can be used any time in the future). The length of stay expires when you leave.

What you should buy depends on what you are going to do. If you are a DVC member, you get a 10% discount on the LOS. Usually hoppers are recommended when you are going to be there 6 nights/7 days (possibly a 5 day hopper if you are not going to the parks on arrival or departure day). However, because of the 10% discount on the LOS for a DVC member and the ability to leave off arrival or departure day, the LOS can be the better and cheaper pass for a DVC member. Moreover, it would be the pass of choice if you plan to do Disney Quest which is not included in any of the hoppers.

Note, if you intend to return to WDW within one year for another 6 days or so, then you may also want to consider an Annual Pass which will be good for park entries for that return trip and not just the current one. The Annual Pass is sold at the parks and not the resorts. Unless you are going to buy an annual pass then get your ticlkets at the resort as it is faster to do it at check in and they put your tickets on your room key. Finally note, that the 2 year needs no pass as any child under 3 has free admission everywhere.
