We are planning a "last minute" trip for the first week of June with my sister and her family. I can't find the times I need for a party of eight, but if I request two tables of eight it fits our schedule. I have booked one reservation under my log in/name and one under my husband's: will the restaurant consider this a duplication and cancel one?

(Yes, I know we may not get adjacent tables but that is ok as long as we are within the same restaurant at the same time. Sometimes it is nice to split up a little bit anyway!)

As long as you used a different name, email address and phone number you'll be ok. We did this once when we had a group of 9. I split it into two reservations and used my mother's name, email and phone number on one of them and mine on the other and we didn't have any problems. We checked in half an hour early for our reservation and they were able to seat us at adjacent tables.

Usually 2 tables can be put together, if your times are at the same time, why not ask?
