party of 8 getting seated together

hi guys , am new to the board so appolagies if i have put this on the wrong thread .
our party of 8 will be on the ddp and have booked all our resses , but i have just found out we may not be seated at the same table . if is the case will the 18% tax be added to our bill even thou we may be sitting at opp sides of the resturant ?

any info would be a great help

Even when we have been told we would have two tables the restaurant has always seated us together so you will probably be okay. If you are on the DDP then each table would have their own bill and the tip would be for that table only based on the meals ordered. I think they put the tip options at the bottom of the bill and you add the one that you want but that may have changed since last year. There was a time when it showed the tip at 18 or 20 percent and possible even 15% and then you could add that in. It can be paid in cash or charged to your room or a credit card.



I was thinking you would have the TIW card which has the tip automatically added- If that is the case you need to have them run the bill as one table even if you are at different ones I think. I would ask when you get to the place you are eating. Tell them you have the TIW card and need to be seated in a way that it can be used for everyone in your party.
