Party of 7--some on DDP, some not, this ok?

We have a trip coming up end of April 09 (myself, DH, DD--5, and DS--2), we are meeting up with 3 relatives for half the trip. They are booked on DDP, I haven't decided yet if we will do that or not, still trying to look at menus and crunch the numbers. Anyway, will it be a problem if half of us are on the dining plan and half are not when I make ADR's or when we get to the restaurant?? Thanks for any advice!!

Nope .you just need to let your server know when you arrive who is and is not on the plan.

We usually travel in a group of eight, some with the plan, some without. Never had a problem. Be sure to tell the server at the beginning of the meal and at dessert, just in case.
