We are a party of 6 on the dining plan. Disney says gratuity is included for parties of 6 or more. How does this work? Do I get a bill at the end of the meal for just the tip?

This thread will likely be locked, since all tipping discussion should be handled in the big tipping thread thingy on the main restaurants forum. With that covered...

To answer the question, basically, yes. In my experience, I've always received a check at the end of the meal, DDP or no, when they apply the DDP to that check, everything covered gets zeroed out while everything not-covered stays on there for you to pay however you wish. While I don't specifically know about the auto-gratuity, I do know for sure about other uncovered items (those Margaritas...everywhere....are tasty!)

Well, technically the gratuity isn't really included, it's automatically added to your bill at 18% if you have a party of six or more.

If you are on the dining plan, then it will show up at the end of your bill and will need to be paid however you with, credit card, cash, gift card...

So if on the dining plan, and your meal would have cost $200 if paying out of pocket, your tip amount that will show up is $36.
