Hi all,

I'm looking into a cruise in the next few months and I'm interested in what members think would be the most economical and enjoyable stay options. We have 5 in our group, including 2 adults, 12 year old, 5 yr old and infant (1.5 yrs). I'd like to find a more economical option instead of an outside state room with veranda (cat. 4). Does anyone have any suggestions? I've not settled on the length of the cruise yet, maybe 4 days?

Thanks

Krsis

Your most economical option (and still have connecting staterooms if available) would be two category 10, Deluxe Inside Staterooms, or two category 9, Deluxe Oceanview Staterooms.

I have to agree with the connecting category 10's. I had adjoining category 11's, and I hated every minute of it, so inconvenient to have 2 keys and walk back and forth for every little thing.

We're a family of 5 and will be doing our third cruise in July. Our first 2 cruises we booked 2 cat 11 's right next to each other. For our Ca. cruise in July we have booked a cat 6 and a cat 11 across the hall. Our friends who are also a family of 5 and travel with us also booked the same way. Never a problem and having 2 bathrooms even though they're in diiferent staterooms really helps.

I would go for the 2 bathrooms too. Let your older child have the responisblity of the extra key if it is too much for you. You said he or she was 14 right? that should be old enough. Or you and hubby can put one of you in each room and sneak back for "private time" while the kids are in the clubs.

Thanks everyone for your help! I never considered the 2 bathrooms that sure would be nice... I will have to look into connecting rooms.
thanks again
Kris

We are a family of 5 with a baby that is 17 mo old who is going to sleep in their pack n play. I was told by our TA that we couldn't book a room that slept 4 and stick the crib in there, so we ended up booking a cat 4. When the TA priced it out (we are doing land/sea) it ended up being only $300 more for the cat 4, we decied to go for it since we can stay at the Poly in DW. I was thinking since the baby still needs her naps we could sit out on the verandah.

I forgot to tell you that if you are considering doing the Disney Cruise I would book as soon as possible, prices go up very quickly we had gotten a quote and within a week the price went up almost $400! We couldn't believe it we almost didn't book the vacation, but I glad we did I. I can blow through $400 quickly when I am Christmas shopping.
