It has to do with DVC marketing webcasts that are scheduled this week; emails were sent out mainly to those who made a DVC tour/inquiry at some time and didn't purchase, sign up for the webcast ended on 5/31.

I'm saddened. I bought into DVc and recently bought more points and didn't get anything cool like this !

Does anyone know if/how I can copy webcast to cd ? I am so not tech savvy ~DH & DS are both asleep now so I can't ask them.

I know that there will probably be parts of it I'll want to re-review

I got mine last night (fedex). I actually had forgotten that I signed up for the webcast from a post I recently saw here. I couldn't figure out why I was getting all of this stuff. A set of mouse-ears, a DVC mouse-pad, a wonderful portfolio with DVC pen and paper, confetti and beautiful books on BLT. I'm a on-the-fence BLT person. It's only going to take one more great incentive to push me over. Did I say, I love free stuff that says DVC on it. My husband saw the pleather portfolio and reached for it and I gave him the look and he backed away...mine, mine, mine!

I'm signed up for this weekend, so will be curious to read what people post after the first one.

We received ours yesterday. As DW and I were going through everything, I thought for sure DW was finally convinced to buy.

Only to be disappointed again. I'm afraid my only hope of finally purchasing DVC this year is if they do a better job selling DVC than the guides we've talked with (or if they do offer better incentives).

The one other thing I plan to show DW during the web cast is how DVC prices have gone through the years. I'm planning to show her how much DVC was when we first thought about buying BCV when it first opened and showing her what the going rate is for BCV resales.

Weird thing is...we JUST bought DVC 200 points BLT in April.
I didn't think we'd be included in this promo.
Both my & DH's names are on the deed.

Based on what's inside is it safe to assume that the webcast will focus solely on BLT? Rumor has been that sales at BLT are going so well that the incentives will be going away on June 15th. Kind of makes you wonder why the big push to sell even more? It was still fun to get that box though!

Good question ! idk at first glance it would seem the focus will be BLT - maybe BLT's incentives will be better than what will be offered at others like AKV, SSR....?

In my opinion, the webcast and the "incentives are going away" thing are all to boost sales right now! I don't think it's a coincidence that this is all happening in June. June is the end of the current fiscal quarter, so they most likely want a boost in sales to help their numbers. In any event, I'm very excited for the webcast and the deals they are running. With any luck, we will be owners at BLT by the end of the month.

Did anyone else get a phone call to confirm watching tomorrow nights webcast? When I heard WDW on the phone (my phone tells you who is calling) I ran and nearly knocked my DD down, oops! It was a very nice gentleman calling and leaving messages to confirm tomorrow nights attendance. He asked if I received my package and if I liked it, I said "Oh my god, are you kidding me I LOVED IT, and I put on my ears right away, you people have turned me into a disney geek!" He started laughing and was happy it made my day and all the responses to the party in a box have been great. I was very surprised that they are confirming attendance. He also said that he saw that I was already a member but didn't say anything about it being for new members.

Anyone else?

Got my party in a box today!! So nice to come home from work to this. DH is not quite as into it as I am. He needs more convincing I'm afraid. Not sure he is ready to make the leap yet. Wait to see what tomorrow night's webcast brings.

We got the phone call too. Caller (can't remember her name) said to be sure to log on...prizes would be given out during the webcast.

I can't begin to describe how happy I was to get the "Party in a Box". I knew it was coming and had my eye out...the FedEx guy was taken aback by my skipping towards him! He smiled though...its obviously good news.

Got my PIAB yesterday. They must have run out of DVC mouse ears, becasue I got regular WDW mouse ears (they still had the $11.95 price tag on them) . The only unfortunate thing is that they are youth sized, so I'm going to look extra silly wearing them. DW said I should give them to DD, but I said "No way! She already has two pairs!"

I don't think there are special DVC mouse ears. Mine are the regular Adult Disney Jacobson Hat type, with a DVC sticker stuck on the front.

That's what I mean, they didn't put the DVC sticker on mine. They are just the standard black WDW ears you get in all the gift shops. Youth size.
