Wasn't sure if this is in the right place, but it is food related.

Sounds like reservations open next week for the F&W festival events, and I want to know if I need to call right at 9am to get the reservation for the Party of the senses. We extended our vacation but haven't changed our flights yet, and don't want to if I cannot get this. Please let me know if this is something I need to reserve as soon as they open. Thanks!

In the past it has sold out BUT in recent years people have been able to book up to a week before. You should be fine not booking right away. We are not booking ours the 1st morning and feel comfortable waiting without thinking we will miss it!

Party for the Senses has a capacity of 300-350, maybe more, so they don't sell out right away.

Keep in mind that food and wine special events are nontransferable (at least for the person in whose name the reservation is), noncancellable and nonrefundable. Make sure you can get there before you reserve one.

Nope..you don't have to call right away for your PFTS reservation. have a great flight and do it after you unpack and relax.

Oh good, I can change my flights then now, and just call in a couple of hours after they open and not have to worry about it. The whole purpose of us changing our flights is to go for the party for the senses... It is supposed to be my Birthday present since my B-day is 5 days before that!

Well - Have a Happy Birthday and enjoy! We love it!

Enjoy! It is one of my favorite things at WDW. I was trying to find a way to come down for a weekend but the airfare is too high to justify it. I hope to do it again next year! It is fabulous!!!!!

I have heard nothing but good things about it, so was very pleased when DH said I could have it as my b-day present!! :)

Lucky you! :thumbsup2 I'm so jealous. We just miss it this year. :sad1: You will have a fabulous time. My advice is arrive early so you can pick your table and location. Did I say I'm sooooo jealous?!?!

Please do note that the food and wine festival events have been cut this year, in my opinion severely. Party for the Senses is one item that has apparently survived the cuts. Therefore, it follows that more people may want to book it.

While I would not think it was necessary to book one the day booking opens, anyone who is thinking about booking may not wish to wait until you arrive at WDW to book one. I'd go for at least a couple of weeks out.

I plan on booking on Day one, it's just a matter of timing. Anyone know what time the Festival number opens for booking? Is it 9am or 8am?
