So, I think I know the answer but wanted some expert advice. We have 3 days at WDW in early Dec. and want to do Magic Kingdom for our only park day. Two of the days we're there are MVMCP days. Are those less crowded than non Party days?
I realize we'd have to leave early but that's OK.
Thanks

In my experience, party days are definitely less crowded. Hubby and I did MK on a MMSSHP day last year and rode everything at least twice by leveraging Genie+ and shorter lines. It was a hugely successful day, and we were easily out of there before the party began.

Yes, party days are much less crowded. It means missing fireworks.

It also means non-party days are extra busy.

I agree with everyone, that party days are less crowded. If you want to see either the holiday fireworks or HEA, there are many places outside the park that play the music an have a nice view.

It's less crowded until 4pm when the party ticket holders can get in. Then it gets busy until park close, and they are very strict about getting day guests out in a timely manner. If you use early entry, you should be able to get a lot done. Tron and Tiana's might be the challenge since there will be fewer VQ's available with the shorter hours. You can always buy the paid LL Single Passes.

Park opening til 4pm on party days, the best time! Attendance is much lower than a typical day during those hours.

Party days are great, but you need to plan a bit. Party goers who come in at 4pm don’t care if they are waiting in a long ride line and tend to eat dinner in the parks. I highly recommend trying to get some LLs for after 4 pm and/or planning things like COP, Laugh Floor, Philharmonic then. Even lines for IASW and Under the Sea will go up those last couple of hours. But if you do early entry and just GO during the day, you can probably get everything in, except obviously fireworks. Sometimes I snag a dinner ADR in MK, but realize the shops will be closed to you when leaving if you do that. Sometimes I have planned a TS meal at DS or another resort at around 7 pm to cap the end of a shorter park day. I admit I have also just crashed in my room early, too, ready to hit EE again the next morning. Non party days are crowded all fall unless it’s storming. Kind of a bummer, actually for infrequent visitors.

Party days are the best! Get there early, and you can do SO MUCH until the party starts. Book an ADR right before 7pm. You'll walk out of there around 8:30 having a gloriously uncrowded but extremely full day.
