Participating in the Target survey - mention your Rx rewards displeasure

If you participate in the survey that comes with many of the cash register receipts, you have the opportunity to mention Rx reward discount changes. During my last survey, I politely mentioned I was disappointed that I could no longer apply the 5% Rx discount to entertainment cards. I also mentioned that rather than buying material presents, I used these cards for the presents I would present for birthday, holiday, etc and I like to stock up with several types of cards when I have my Rx discount. I know many are upset with losing the Disney gift card advantage, me too, but I also am upset that I cannot buy Starbucks, movie theaters, etc. type gift cards and use my discount. Seriously, I really do stock up for gift giving occasions and hate to lose this easy way of having gifts on hand for those last minute parties my daughter seems to always be attending.

I liked using them for those too. The problem is even if we complain, they aren't going to bring back the specific part of the program they lose money on. At most they would bring it back with a cap which would also cause a huge hassle and give more people reason to notice that it works on the gift cards.
