Partially used MYW ticket

Can a partially used MYW ticket (10 day) with no expiration applied be used to upgrade to an annual pass? If so, can this discounted pass get the DVC member discount?

I asked this very question when we purchased our AP this year at Studio's and was told no. Now we got our Discount but was not allowed to upgrade the ticket.

Only within 14 days of first use.

You can use a MYW ticket to upgrade to AP even with DVC discount, but all upgrades have to be done within 14 days of first use even with the no exp. option. Please see this link for the best info on ticket upgrades http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1452684

Thanks! Was trying to justify getting the DDE versus a dining plan. Now, it's back to the drawing board!

OTOH...you can buy your AP with the DVC discount and use the remaining days on your non-expiring MYW (either before or after the AP). The AP doesn't begin until you activate it, so you'd still get full value for both.

That MYW ticket may come in very handy some day. The current ticket pricing makes MYW tickets of less than 7 days very costly/day. I'll bet that someday you will be very glad you have that 3 day ticket.

I agree.....I still have LOTS of water park admissions on old Hopper tickets (going back to 1995), that I feel are like a gold mine now !

It's a 7 day ticket but you are probably very correct... It's hard to come by.
