Partially booked my first trip home.

Well I was finally able to book my first trip. I booked at VWL on Fri Sept 12th and Sat the 13th. I wanted to stay 5 nights total but nothing was available there. So I waitlisted at WL and Beach Club for Sunday through Wed. I hope it happens, we are just looking for a studio. Only thing available my whole trip was SP and OKW. Do you think there is much of a chance I will get it?

I can't wait to go. My wife is excited as am I but she is also sad.

Hi, It is a GAMBLE. Personally if I were SET on going to WDW I would take SSR or OKW. Also keep in mind that MOST members will cancel before 30 days out to avoid points going into holding. So you could switch to SSR or OKW at that point (30 days) IF they are still available. I have stayed at all DVC resorts that you mentioned and each one has their own personal charm.So what are your concerns about OKW and SSR?? Joan

VWL is our home resort and we just love it there. Plus we love the convenience to MK, which is our favorite park. We want to stay at OKW but we really want to wait to take my mother in law since that is her favorite. None of us have stayed there yet. And SSR just really does not excite me.

Do you think I can keep my waiting list on the other resort and if it does not come thru book at OKW, would there be rooms available that late.

Just check or waitlist for all 4 for 3 days as a separate reservation for those missing days, If you get OKW or SSR start a new wait list for VWL and BC to replace it This works as long as you are willing to change resorts in the middle, confirm that when the wait list is filled it will be “paid for” from your cancelled SSR or OKW points plus a few extra points (this is the way I have seen it posted but confirming with MS is a good idea with all the changes).
Since VWL and BC are both more point there should not be any issue with having borrowed of banked points being left over
