Partial hook-up sites 1500 or 2000?

Thats it right? We stayed at 2000 last time and liked it, but 1500 is near the Meadows Pool right?

Just wondering if I should put in a request, and if so, for which loop?

Which did you like better and why?

You'll get split answers on this one! It's all a matter of personal preference.

We love 1500 because it's close to the Meadows area, but not too close so that it's noisy. We can also walk from there to the Marina in about 10 minutes.

I like both of them for different reasons. I like the location of 1500. Very centrally located, small loop, so no one site is too far away from the comfort station. Equal distance between both Outpost and Settlement to main bus stops. The only problem I have with 1500 is that the sand area is smaller on those sites and for tent campers that can be a problem. I can't use 1506 at all.

Loop 2000 is newer and is designed for tent campers. All sand pads are larger and have a little "jut out" where the grill is located so that doesn't use space in your main tent area. I can always set up my tents and flys exactly the way I want them. However, Loop 2000 is huge, and it is more likely than not, that you are a distance from a comfort station. It is also out in the boonies. To get to Settlement by sidewalk is an extremely out of the way process.

So that's my feeling on the two loops. I guess I favor Loop 1500 if I can get a large enough site.

My family has stayed in both loops and we prefer the 2000 loop.

We found the sites in the 1500 loop to be smaller and you have to share a comfort station with the full hook-up loop next door and while some people might say that is no big deal because RV's have a bathroom and those guests will not use the comfort stations, think again, if they have more than one person who needs to get ready for the day then they will need to use the comfort stations too.

Yes, the 1500 loop is just across the bridge from the Meadows area and that is convenient but the 2000 loop is a short walk away if you know the short cut through the group camping area and through the 900 loop (my kids see this as kind of a little adventure).

We find the 2000 loop to be quieter and the sites are larger, there are also 2 comfort stations in the 2000 loop and if you request a site close to the comfort station, FW will do what they can to accomodate your request.

If you are planning to rent a golf cart then you would be able to get anywhere from either loop very easily.

WE've stayed in both 2000 and 1500. I really like 1500 better. We even walked back from the marina after Wishes and didn't find it so long. DS then 15 loved the promixity to the pool as did DH (cheapest beer on property)!
