Our contest is getting down to the wire! Only one week until we declare the winner!

I made a big life change today: I redeclared majors. I'm now an AYA Social Studies education major (a.k.a. high school social studies teacher). Lots of reasons why, but I'm way less stressed, and much happier having made the change.

So being a college counselor, I am curious. Did a counselor help you with the decision?

Good news - my FIL was cleared to travel. They're on their way to their house in FL. That's one hurdle out of the way.

That is great news. But they will wait to see how he does at their house in Florida before they decide whether or not to make the trip to WDW? At least things are progressing in the right direction!

What a great idea - I wish I could make fish and chips like they taste at pubs across Great Britain - so good!!!

Although I was disappointed in the chips in London. I researched the best place to go-a hangout for the Taxi drivers and was hoping they would be crispier I guess.

So excited - while I have been planning my December trip (only 73 days to go) I am now going to get to plan our next trip which is a big family vacation next August - 15 people, my parents, brothers and their families, me and my daughter. SO EXCITED!! Plus my daughter and I are going for Halloween next year too...woohoo!!

Had to share because my excitement levels are through the roof lol

I'm a cultural anthropologist - studying other cultures mostly. Taught for a year but research is my first love. I would really love an Ivory Tower right in the middle of Disney World. I could study people from different parts of the world but I think my most interesting research would be finding out why Dissers are such fun, nice people. I wonder if the government would like to fund that?

How wonderful! My DH and I share a common interest in history and do a lo of research together for various projects. We work really well together because he is all about the facts/politics/military etc whereas I study Social History so combined, we do good work!

They're not meant to be crispy - a chip is very different from a french fry

Of course DH says "why don't we change our resort to WL for the whole week" on the night the site is down.

This is something we have been kicking around for a month so it sucks not being able to call and change the reservation. Who knows, they may not even have a courtyard view available anymore.

Someone said it is down until the 10th? This seems so far away.

I shouldn't laugh ... but I will - just a little Nothing worse than wanting to change and you can't for reasons beyond your control.
