I just want to say how glad I am that we changed our trip from October to December. Not only will I be going at the same time as all of you, but my inlaws lost a whole day in Florida yesterday due to cancelled flights from the air strike.

Maybe Disney punished them for only planning to spend one day at wdw and the rest other parks? seriously though, I feel so bad for them. It would have cost them $1400 to switch to better flights.

I wore my new black sneakers with hot pink laces and my new pink Mickey shirt tonight. DH liked it and asked if I was going to get shoelaces to match all my shirts.

Mannequins at the end were slightly creepy..... Looks so awesome though! I can't wait and cotton candy cupcakes look yummy! I wonder how I'm going to fit all these cupcakes in....

Well got my Disney fix! Went to see Finding Nemo in 3D. We made it through about 70-75 min of it before my daughter was too restless and we had to go. For the sake of the other paying movie goers- but we had a great time!

So far it seems that guests are randomly being selected to try it out. I don't know if they have announced when the full roll out will be.

From what I have read you choose (electronically, before you get to the park) 4 attractions that you want the fastpass + for and then associates them with your fastpass + card. I hope we get picked to ty it out!

So I have now made my official MUST HAVE Disney Snack list for this upcoming trip on my PTR. Come check it out and suggest more!

I just got done telling dh that we need to start a walking routine to get us in tip-top shape for all the walking we'll be doing at WDW....

Confession. We have 70 days until our vacation and I spent a good couple of hours making sure our disney shirts were washed, folded, and packed away in our suitcases. It's probably not going to warm up enough for shorts here anymore so I packed a few of mine for our trip.....and I put our travel-sized toiletries in the quart-sized baggie and put that in our carry-on. Made sure our coffee pods were packed and a handful of Kcups for our RPR night. I got a couple of the battery operated christmas lights from Target yesterday, threw 6 AA batteries in the boxes, and packed those too.

I definitely upgrading us to DxDDP. It's silly not to for us. Looking at the menus of the restaurants we already had ADRs for (the one's we were going to have to pay out of pocket for) it was only $7 more to pay for the upgrade. I won't do it until closer to the trip, just to give me time to change my mind......lol.......so I looked at our existing ADRs and added several more. So very excited!

So, question: If you are on the DxDDP do you get appetizer, entree, and dessert at EVERY table service meal? I'm going to have to lose 10 pounds just to accommodate what I expect I'll be gaining!

Today I read several TRs then spent a good portion of time drooling over the food porn threads. OMGosh....I've totally gone loco over Disney food!

Congrats on all the food, I was thinking up upgrading, but we decided that we really didn't want to spend so much time eating, on this trip since its our first, it's all about rides and attraction so we have a few ADRs planned and I picked out my QS spots and of course a million snacks lol. There is always next trip right lol.

Thanks for the update, I so added a new cupcake to my list of snacks lol, the cute swirl one with the chocolate dumbo, it reminds me of the movie " jumbo....... more like dumbo" those mean elephants lol. But seriously it looks so good, it looks like it has coconut or something. So anyways snapping out of my cupcake trance. I have 71 days left..... And almost all planning done, since it's really cold up here lately so I am putting away all our summer clothes. It's been a lot of laudry and folding to put stuff away. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

thanks for all the replies about Fast Pass +, I didn't want to miss something and find out that we won't or can't use fast passes.

Side Note: now i get to plan four trips. Dec, March, May and Oct (love AP and DVC).

Thanks for posting this! I will be trying the cotton candy cupcake. I was showing DH the pics and he asked, who buys the fruit kabob, when there is a chocolate covered one right next to it.

Me? Make changes?? i do think I will call back and drop the preferred room. I like Casitas, but I dont hate any of the sections so I may just take my chances. Near a bus stop will become my request. And maybe top floor.
Told DH about the change. He was a little unsure at first about the breakfast issue, but I convinced him we could make it work, so now he is excited too. And I had planned to eat lunch at the resort on arrival day, so now we get to have the lunch buffet, which I have heard great things about.
