For those of us staying at the CSR the U.S. Olympic Gymnastic team will be at the CSR on Dec27-30!! My kids would flip if they even got a glance of them! We <3 Olympics!!

So haven't even had the trip booked 48 hours yet and I've already changed 3 ADRs online and called to change to the Deluxe dining plan AND I drug sissy to the mall this evening so she could get a new pair of tennis shoes with plenty of time to break them in before the trip. A bit obsessive compulsive when it comes to trip planning?

So far we've got ADRs at:

50's Prime Time Cafe (dinner on the 19th)
Rose & Crown (Candelight Processional Dinner on the 20th)
Tusker House (Breakfast on the 21st)
Yak & Yeti (Lunch on the 21st)
Narcoossee's (Dinner on the 21st)
San Angel Inn (Lunch on the 22nd)
Kouzzina (Dinner on the 22nd)

Probably this'll change half a dozen times between now and December, especially since I don't know how I'm going to eat all the food with 3 ADRs on the 21st, but sissy's arguing that since it's our night for MVMCP we'll be out late and need the extra fuel We'll do counter service for the rest, and I am really looking forward to blowing all those wonderful snack credits meandering my way around the World Showcase watching all the Holidays Around the World presentations!

With our basic schedule worked out and the ADRs booked I guess it's time to spend countless hours playing with Touring Plans' personalized plan options......(note to self: remember to add in time for bathroom breaks this time)!

Bealls is a Florida store that sells summer like clothes all year round - you could buy them on line (guess at a size), keep receipts and if they don't fit when you get to Florida you could exchange them at any Bealls store. They do run sales all year round so you could wait to order online just before your trip. Another option is Dillards - I think their Florida stores have summer like clothes in Nov. & Dec.

So off topic (but we are good at that too!) my staycation begins! Except its raining... Grrr all this vacation rain better get it over itself this week and give me beautiful weather in December!!

And did anyone notice the Nov thread has 4 pages... I bet they get to 5 since they are in the 150's... People I think we need to step it up!!

Right now, we'd be getting up SUPER early on the 13th to get to the airport by 7am, hopefully getting to AoA by 12:00pm, and then heading out to MK or Epcot. We also have MVMCP that night.

ETA: It's looking (from the site) like there are no rooms (anywhere?) on that night with the room discount. Does anyone know if that's true? If it is, POP would still only be $113.

Why is AoA Only $105 on Expedia? That would be even better.

BTDT. It was exhausting. I booked early and paid slightly more this time to not have to fly out at an ungodly hour.

Regarding the discount - the website has been broken all week. its not showing any discounts for an resorts in any days. You'll have to call.

Edit: saw that you already did. Yay! This thread is hard to keep up this week.

Oh and what about dinner at Flying Fish vs. Yachtsman Steakhose? Which one?

Personally Flying Fish is our favorite restaurant. But it depends on your preferences and what else you're eating. I think FF has a lighter menu compared to some of the heavier meals we do.

Soooo... Us December-ites still have until the end of October to get our discount in (assuming there are still rooms available at least)

I'm in the car with my parents and grandparents, driving to Toronto for a wedding. Which means I won't have DIS access for 24ish hours (while I'm in Canada) :O
