Someone make me step away from the resort board!!!!!! Really tempted to switch to CSR for $300. Queen beds, beautiful resort, potentially less kids and quieter. Could do a preferred room or king bed for $500. Just dont know that I want a breakfast buffet everyday. Could grab muffins the night before or even pack something quick and then eat another snack in the park before lunch if we needed to. We always eat lunch early to beat crowds anyway.

I do not have this much trouble with decisions IRL, I swear. I have been having this debate since February (with WL thrown in a few times). The book by date for FD is tomorrow so I feel like that is my deadline (even though I know Guest Services can do it, but it's kind of a pain).

I am paid in full at POP. Looking forward to the tie-dye cheesecake, pictures with the giant icons and maybe walking over to AoA. My head is going to explode.

The reality of our trip is starting to sink in. Bought airline tickets last night. Next on the list, figure out how we are going to surprise the kids with the trip.

No we have always stayed at offsite condos. This is my first onsite stay. DH has stayed at ASSports and VWL and thought both were fine.

In that case then I would stick with what you originally booked as that is what has been getting you excited and have CSR as your next resort to get excited about

Just a random thought I am laying on the floor in my DD's playroom, no seats in here, listenung to Disney's Sing Along Song Beach Party at WDW on the tv, but in my head I'm walking down main street singing "I'm walking right down the middle of main street USA" 68 days and it will be a reality!!!!

December 5th: checking into aoa little mermaid room/downtown disney
December 6th: Ioa/universal hoppers
December 7th: Start at MK see new fantasyland/hop to DHS see osbourne lights/ hop to epcot open till 12:30 am!
December 8th: Podcast cruise 4.0 Western Caribbean on the Fantasy!!!!
December 15th: dock and fly home

2 months from right now I will be getting off the plane to start our surf and turf vacation!! I'm so excited it is crazy!! I feel like a kid waiting for Xmas morning!! What am I going to be like when it is a week away??? I'm going to start to get DSA!!! Disney Sleep Apnea is a sleep disorder characterized by high levels of excitement thinking about your upcoming trip....it is completely normal and there is no known cure!!!

So that's what I have - whew!! thought there was something really wrong. Woke up at 1:00am and couldn't get back to sleep for three hours. Time was not totally wasted as I did spend some time on the Dis.

so I was doing my habitual "well what if I switched it and did a few days here and a few days there" check a few minutes ago... and ALL of the resorts are totally booked for the Room Only discount on my arrival date...

Who's sucking up all my dates!?

now what am I gonna do to occupy my time? stalk ADRs?

There's been a problem with the website. I had to call earlier this week to get mine because the discount wasn't showing up for any resorts/any dates. But when I called there was still plenty if availability.

Though I think the discount expires tomorrow, so you'll want to call soon if you're going to do it.

Same here. DW and I will be staying offsite for the first part of our trip. My D'Sis is coming along for the first week so we just booked our timeshare. DW and I will stay an extra 5 days after D'Sis goes back home. We'll switch to CBR then. This will also be our first time staying onsite.

Well see..that's the problem, I have been back and forth so often I am not sure which one I booked first or which one I am more excited about. I think I originally booked POP for just DH and I. But then shortly after that, we invited DB and I switched to CSR for the queen beds. It stayed that way for a long time and then the second wave of FD came out for my dates. So I switched to POP with 2 rooms for about the same price as our one room as CSR. But now DB is not coming.

True there is always the next trip, but it will be a couple years away, so I have deluxe dreams for that one.

I had a dream last night that I as trying to explain to my in-laws what was so cool about the Belle Meet & Greet. Seriously, my insane planning has taken over my dreams.

I did so much planning a year ago for a December trip and had made numerous calls to various WDW numbers, and when I woke up suddenly one morning and looked at the clock to see the time displayed as 4:07, I instantly thought "that's the area code at Disney World"!

So are we. This our 3rd trip and this will also be the first time DW and I will have some alone time at WDW. Last time we went, we went with D'Sis and some good friends. Our first trip, D'Sis was with us for that trip as well. More people were supposed to come with us, but plans fell apart at the last minute for them.

I know the feeling. I was planning 2 Disney trips at the same time. One to DL and our upcoming to WDW. Often at times I was hoping I wasn't mixing the 2 up. And DW wonders why I make so many spreadsheets.

I vote for staying where you are. You can use that $300 for something really special while in Disney if you want, or save it towards the next trip
