I'm still playing with ADR's, since we booked just last week I'm not finding everything I'd like. The Ohana res is a bit late for us but I'll take what I can get in order to eat there! I really wanted a CP breakfast before park opening but nothing's available of course. And then there's the elusive Le Cellier lunch which I'm sure is impossible at this point. DH and I are thinking about doing an adults only trip next year though, we may book the BB offer depending on what it is so we'll get a chance to hit up our fav restaurants and some signatures then.

What do you guys think of our plan? It's pretty similar to what we did last year, and it worked well for us.

I think you did well with ADRs considering your late plans! Dh and I are going solo as well.....our kids are all just about grown....however, if we were going during college summer breaks you better believe we'd have more in tow! :dance3::dance3: I've been trying to find an earlier Le Cellier OR a later BOG on 12/12/12 but have had no luck (and I don't anticipate doing so unless something opens up 45 days out).......you will probably have the best chance of snagging one of your elusive ADRs if you check on your 45-50 day mark. Congrats on getting the earlier vacation. Nothing like the happiest place on earth......especially at Christmas-time! :santa:

Isn't that the same plan we've had all along? I can't speak of the earlier dates but I know the December dates are the same they announced a while back because we booked our free dining with that same offer. It looks like they've extended the booking dates, though so that's cool.

Thanks, I'm definitely going to keep checking daily and multiple times around the 45 day mark! It's so much better knowing there's only 75 days until our trip rather than 350!

Our kids are still pretty young so a vacation alone is unheard of around here! I figure if we give them this super special Christmas disney trip, and let them know right after our trip that the next one is a mommy and daddy alone trip then hopefully they won't be so upset about it and a bit more understanding? Who am I kidding though...I'm sure they'll throw a fit! I'll feel bad for it, but only until I get to the airport. :rotfl:

So my husband thinks I'm crazy, because I just booked a second dinner on our DHS day. Since the hours might change, and they might add a second Fantasmic! based on previous years changes, I decided to go ahead and book a 5:15pm dinner in case they add a second Fantasmic!, if they don't, I'll cancel, and we'll just have to grab a snack before heading to the theatre, since dinner isn't until 7:50pm. If they do add a second showing, we'll cancel the later one, eat dinner, see the Osborne Lights, and then hit Fantasmic! I think it's a great plan, my husband thinks I'm insane.:rotfl:

Anyone else do stuff like that?

I booked a 9pm 50's Prime Time Cafe ADR because I'm counting on a late Fantasmic! :cool1: If they don't have one for some reason, I'll cancel that ADR and just.....wait a minute. I better make an earlier ADR there just in case. It's a late EMH that night but if their isn't a late Fantasmic, we may just go back to the resort and relax. We're hoping to do Osbourne Lights during the first Fantasmic.......so in answer to your question....YES! lol!!!

Well heck.....I can't get an earlier ADR at 50's Prime Time Cafe.

I do :) I just don't share it all with him... He thinks I'm crazy enough why add to it? Plus I just get his opinion on financials and share bits and pieces. :)

Am I the only one to just realize that there were menus with prices at BOG restaurant? I just tried to see if I could get a later reservation for my BOG day and I saw the real menu.

We're paying oop for this one and it really doesn't look any cheaper than any of the other TS restaurants :scared1:

Hmm, I'm underwhelmed. I think the lunch options I heard sounded more appealing. It sounds like this will be another TS where you eat there for the experience, not the food.

Which is probably why I'll just have a soup and salad with champagne vinaigrette......and maybe a cupcake ;)

Anyone count the roll call recently? I'm curious how many we have. I'll do it tomorrow if no one's done it recently.

I made sure to count when someone had their partner/friend who is also a Dis'er attending (ie. 2 names on 1 line)

We are at... (drum roll)

387 December Roll Callers!
