Part-Time Rental Car

This might sound a little strange, but we only need a rental car for half our trip in December. Does anyone know of any rental car places close to WDW where we can arrange for a rental car?

Last year we rented a car at the airport thru National, then returned it to them at the Dolphin.

This year I'm going for 10 days, but only renting for 8. Plan to pickup at TPA and keeping it for a week (got a good weekly rate!) then returning it again at the Dolphin. Then the day before I fly home, I'll pickup at the Dolphin and return it to National at TPA.

The other site on property is at the Car Care Center (Alamo is also on-site). Hope this helps!!!!

What and where is the "Car Care Center" on-site?

The Car Care Center is a gas station/garage where you can get your car serviced if need be - I think the gas station is Exxon. I've never been there, but been by it on my way to and from MK. I think they have shuttles, though, which will bring you there. Maybe someone else has used them to rent a car and can give you more details!!!

Personally, I think it's easier to use the counters at the Dolphin.
