I didn't know that! Is it on the Disney website?

It's on their TA calendar. Not sure if it made it to their regular calendar. They're pretty slow to update but it was announced a while ago.

So it looks like I am leaving you all. We're having to postpone our trip, my grandmother is not well, spent last weekend on a ventilator. She's home because there's nothing else they can do. They give her 2 months or so. So we're pushing our trip back to late February.

Enjoy your trips, have magical Christmasy times! & shop, shop, shop! pixiedust:pixiedust:

I may peek in from time to time as there seems to be no February thread!? :confused3 :faint:

My thoughts are with you and your family. I hope everything works out for the best.

Where are you flying from? How much did you pay for your airfare?

We are flying United LAX - MCO for $280 rt. I thought that was a really good deal, that's one reason we are going at the beginning of December, cheaper airfare.

I have a son in WV and for him to fly to MCO it was $250 rt! Crazy huh? :scared1:

We're leaving out of PHL, so your flight is significantly longer than ours (We did the LAX-MCO flight last year, it was no beuno.)

We booked our flights with RR points. I have no idea how much they cost in dollars. Haha. I think it works out to about $245 round trip per person. The one we just rebooked dropped to $90 going there, and if I recall correctly the one returning from MCO was around $150.

So sorry to hear about your grandmother. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Please stop in and let us know how you are doing. We will miss you.

I've been to Zelienople, we went for a work event.

I'm originally from Philly.

I can't buy pants online. They never fit right. Shoes I can sometimes buy online. Being in NYC we have just about everything, but I miss the outlets. The closest are an hour away. I prefer to buy my clothes from the Ann Taylor and Loft outlets.

I'll be buying our PP+ on payday next week.

Just got the ok to work from home on Monday and Tuesday if Sandy hits like she's supposed to.

You went to Zelienople for a work event? Unless you we're picking some kind of fruit, I can't imagine what you could have possibly been doing there? *lol*

I have a hard time buying pants period. But I find trying them on in stores exhausting. I do love Ann Taylor though.

Good news!

Southwest's prices for our flight went down AGAIN!

This has been about the 5th time we've rebooked our flights, saving us mucho RR points.

So not only do we get a few more points back into the account, but now I have enough to get another $50 gift card of my choosing.

Everyone who's flying SW, check your prices!!

We are flying Southwest too, so I checked our prices. We are only out of pocket for two of our tickets but if I change our flight times, we would save a $160. Right now we arrive at MCO at 1:20 (have to be at the airport by 5:30 am) and we depart MCO at 9:10. I could change and arrive at MCO at 5:10 and then depart MCO at 5:45. So, we would have less time on our arrival day but we could make up for it on our departure day.

My question for all of you experienced Disney traveller's is will it be a hassle to checkout and spend part of the day at one of the parks? Where would we catch the ME - back at our resort? I don't want to screw myself out of prime Disney time for a $160 dollars but that $160 would almost pay for photo pass plus. I guess I would also have to add another day of tix but that shouldn't be too much for tix without any options.

Help! :confused3 Thoughts, ideas?

How much time would you allot for travel between AK and EP using disney transport? I'm wondering what time we should head out of AK to get to EP for an 8:10 Rose and Crown ADR.

Unofficial Guide says 27 min average and 38 minutes max.

If you are out there, we are thinking about you and hope you are safe and sound.

Still catching up on posts but our weather site says: At 11 am the center of the storm was located just north of the Western Bahamas heading north at 6 mph.

We had a client there. Wish I could remember their name. Not many people know where it is.

Is it 5pm yet? I want to go home and take a nap.

You can be my personal shopper. Heck, this whole thread can help me shop, since I'm obviously not spending enough time on the Disney Store. Anytime someone wants to go on the Disney Store, they should just go to the men's department and look at options for me to buy! It'll fill y'all's need to spend time on the Disney Store with my lack of time to shop for myself!

P.S. Does y'all's make sense, or did I make that up?

Spending someone else's money is even more fun than spending my money. :)

Umm I would say it made sense and you made it up. :lmao:

So sorry about your grandmother. I went through a similar situation with my mom three years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Went to Target at lunch. Bought nothing fun or trip related, but they have Mickey fleece pajamas. They are so cute. There was Mickey, Minnie, Animal and Kermit. Some were full body and others just pants. And they had Mickey and Minnie slipper socks. I almost bought them, but they were pink Minnie and I really prefer red Minnie.

But, my Target does not carry the Minnie hand soap.

It's no problem to check out, check your luggage and go to the parks. However, keep in mind that you have to check in at your resort for DME 3 hours before your flight.

I say y'alls all the time, but I'm told the "correct" plural form should be all y'all. LOL

We are done with it. We want to move outside of Raleigh NC. We have family down that way, warmer weather and it seems like there is a lot of options for us. Another huge negative is there isn't a lot for our kids to do except take then hiking, which we love but we also can't do it from November to May bc winter is soooo long. I do love NH but its just not right for us anymore - I want my kids to be brought up in a different area, better education system, more options etc.... One thing I will miss is the farms - oh my gosh awesome fruits, veggies, meat etc! So fresh!! I am spoiled by that which is why I didn't mind getting stuck behind a tractor on my way home yesterday....

I LOVE the Raliegh area. My BiL and a few friends live there. They love the schools and there is so much to do.

Where did you live north of Pittsburgh? I grew up in Cranberry Twp/Zelienople.

New Wilmington. DH grew up there and his family is there, New Castle and Neshanock. I worked in Pittsburgh for PNC so I went thru Cranberry everyday. I do like it there but not to live.
