PART THREE! *December 2012 Roll Call* Holidays, FLE & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

I think we will plan on WPE for lunch on arrival day. Kinda want to go with no ADRs that day in case we are running late or are just in the mood to go straight to a park instead of DTD. I think Raglan Road sounds good, but DH not so much. I really need to get to Disney with a more adventurous eater. :rotfl:

Thats the great thing about Raglans though - british food is very much meat & potatoes. Not spicy or 'funny' tasting :rotfl:

When we went to WDW in October 2010 we ate dinner at Raglan Road. It was the best meal of the whole trip. The Irish dancers and live music were fantastic, it was really fun, the food was great - it it was just wonderful!

We have a lunch ADR booked so we won't get to see the dancers or have the live music :( But I'm just happy to be going!

I'm pretty sure they did that last December for a few dates, too, because of the higher crowds.

Which totally defeats the purpose of early ADRs =( I was hoping to get in early and have the park to ourselves.

I would call them and give them the new credit card number even though it's been paid off. I had an issue once with this with another hotel and it's easier just to be proactive about it and let them know about the new card number than to potentially end up with a problem when you're down there possibly and loose Park time getting it straightened out.

That would be impossible for me....I put the balance of my trip on dozens of WDW gift cards. I think they will need a cc or a debit card to put on your room for charges that could incur. I expect I'll need to leave my cc information even though we'll be paying for most of our expenses with additional gift cards.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. Also, did you see all the early (8am) MK openings? I don't think that's usual. No idea what's up with that.

I'm going to be fairly upset if they do an early MK EMH on my early CRT ADR :( I want to get in there before the crowds do. I guess I'll plan on being there 30 min in advance so we'll still be getting in at 7:35 for an 8:05 ADR.

One place NOT to go - Gloria Estefans place ... name escapes me ... Cuban food. I know several people who have eaten there and the reviews have been either that is was just ok or totally sucked. So I wouldn't risk that one!

Bongos.... I didn't like it in 2004... Had good mixed drinks which dulled the dislike!

Everyone I meet on here or in real life say they didn't like it which is unusual for a Disney restaurant ... I'm surprised its still open.

Wow this thread moves fast. Go away for the weekend and the old thread closes, the new one opens up and it's already on page 25.

Tell me about it! It took me about 1 1/2 hours just to get through 18 pages earlier :scared:

If my in-laws bail I'll be canceling a bunch of park ADRs, including CP 8:10. Keep trying. I once got CP 8:15 5 days out. Had no idea what I'd scored until we planned the next trip.

Our trip last September I scored an early Tusker House about 4 days out. I'll keep trying even when we get there. Never know what the concierge desk might be able to score too

Does anyone know how this will work? I know we'll have some oop expenses (like glasses of wine, tips, etc)......I wanted to get a bunch of WDW gift cards and apply them to my account once we get to WDW. How does that all work? Could I NOT leave my cc info? I don't want any of that stuff charged on my cc, I prefer to use the gift cards so they will all be paid as we incur the extra charges, plus I'll get them at Target and use my Red card which will give me 5% off. Has anyone done anything like this before?
