I don't eat that much sweets. In fact, I don't have any in the house and I try not to. I may buy Oreos once a year or something else, but that's about it.

Me either but DSis has been on a baking kick. She made cookie dough cupcakes - there is Actual cookie dough in the middle. Last week it as brownie sandwiches with caramel frosting in the middle. I get sugar overload just thinking about those.

Today she's making s'mores whoopie pies. Fortunately those are for school tomorrow. The teachers are going to love us. ;)

You need more frames. LOL

Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Belle and Ariel would be my picks. But that leaves out Rapunzel, Tiana and Jasmine. Not to mention Pocahontas, Mulan and Merida. If you want to include Tinkerbell, just pick out your favorite 4 princesses. Or print out pictures of CUPCAKES. :rotfl2:

Definitely need more frames!
I suspect only picking 5 cupcakes would be hard for this group too! LOL ;)

Ok I've caught up on the 2 pages I've missed in the hour I was helping DS print something for school and driving DD to school bc she was tired and missed the bus. Happy Monday! :-)

Well, our trip is paid in full!! I paid our package balance yesterday. Now I just need to pre-order PP (I think the +). And I'm thinking about ordering a basket for each of DD and mom/dad to be delivered to our rooms on arrival day. Or I might just order stuff online and give them the gift bags when we get there. Hmmm.... Need to think about it

Right not for me, it's just trying to measure out the correct carbs. Plus it's hard to log a poppyseed kaiser roll (or as we call them here in NY, hard rolls) when most states don't even know what it is. Hard rolls over here are freshly baked with no nutritional info so it's even harder to log in.

Looks like I've got 7 pages to catch up on since yesterday! Yikes!

I know what you mean. It's frustrating - I end up sticking to packaged breads for that reason. See, for me to skip bread, potatoes, fried food, etc is so easy... However I love to bake and eat ice cream... And unfortunately there is 3 ice cream stands in town with homemade ice cream  One of them next door!! It was so hard when we moved to NH to get used to them calling hard rolls (if you can find a decent one!) bulkies.... I'm originally from NJ :)

Sounds so yummy! I made an apple pie last night... And picked quinces and need to try and make a tart with them. Very odd fruit - we thought they were really gross pears at first!

Good morning!!! Guess what? Late last night I was doing my usual "search for a better ADR time" and I scored Cinderella's Castle at 8:05 on our MK day!!! I really just wanted Crystal Palace because of Pooh but I knew I wanted something inside MK before the people's got in the way of my magical moments.......I'm going to have to force dh to share a couple meals elsewhere during our stay in order to fit in the "4 TS" deal but..........yiiipppeeeeeee! So now the question is to those who have been.......should we keep our Tusker House am pre-AK opening ADR? Is the breakfast there really not to be missed? It's our last day at the World if we do go and we'd probably only have time to do one ride plus the breakfast IF we keep it. It also forces us to add on a day to our KTTW because I'm doing early ticket pickup. What to do? :confused3

Some you totally scorer on the CRT ADR I wouldn't keep the TH ADR. Adding a wholly day onto your ticket to basically just eat breakfast doesn't make much sense to me. I'd rather just grab a snack for breakfast that morning and get in every last ride I could before heading home, or, if you don't want to add a day at all, I'd look at what ADRs are available for breakfast that morning at one of the resorts you'd like to visit. You could have a leisurely breakfast and wander around looking at the decorations that morning.

Mornin DISsers! I was wondering if anyone knew what the earliest ADRs were for Magic Kingdom?

Morning! Wow...*catches her breath* I had 15 pages to catch up on this morning! Glad I'm 2 hours into work already :rotfl:

I had a discussion about LM yesterday with DSis. Know we saw it, I'm a bigvLM fan and I honestly can't remember anything about that show. I couldn't even remember if it had live actors?!?! Made that much of an impression. ;)

I vote B&B.

We really like BBB much better then LMS. Keith (DS) likes the BBB show so we hear no complaints about going to the show. BBB is much more a musical show to us then LMS. Hope this helps.

Thanks! It seems like the concensus is B&B beats out LM by a long shot. I'm a bit concerned about fitting in all the shows at DHS and going on the rides we want. If I have to sacrafice a show, it's definitely going to be LM and maybe Lights Motor Action. And probably Backstage ride show thing (totally forgetting the name right now)

I love trip reports and have read several written by the frumps. Kristen is on this thread, but her friend Jess went to Disney last December. I think someone posted the link to her report at some point. Anyway, I was reading it today and it is really good. She describes and takes pictures of so much of the Christmasy things. I highly recommend it if you want to see how it really is. She had a short trip early in December and then a long trip over Christmas and New Year's. I showed DH some of the pics and he was even getting excited about the trip. And we are now saving our pennies to stay at CR with TPV. :goodvibes

Totally agree! That's a fantastic TR from December. I'm so jealous, she was there for basically the whole holiday season.

I really want to start packing but the weather possibilities are just throwing me for a loop. I know some of you are really looking forward to warm temperatures, but my fingers are crossed for 60-70 day time temps. I'd love to wear jeans and a long sleeved shirt the whole week.

Ok so I ordered luggage from Walmart last week and it was supposed to arrive today or tomorrow. I have a few things ready to pack and I was excited about starting a suitcase yesterday. I checked my email to make sure which day it was coming. The only problem is that I dont have an email from Walmart with my confirmation and it doesnt show on my cc statement online. Did I just dream about ordering luggage?? I dont know if I should order it again or just wait and see if it shows up. :confused3

If you don't have an email from Walmart and its not showing up as a charge on your card than I'd imagine the order didn't go through. You might try emailing or calling their customer service before you order it again though.

Login to your account. If you placed the order, it should show there. If not, it might still be in your shopping cart.

Exactly 7 weeks! 49 days from no we'll be dropping puppy off at puppy daycare.

That was going to be my suggestion. I wouldn't order again unless you have checked with Walmart. I've had a few random times with different companies that for whatever reason I never got a confirmation email but still got my merchandise. And I don't think it would show up on your card until shipped, so maybe not shipped yet

Having connection problems this morning but I ant to make sure this gets posted.

There's no MSEP on the 5th. Wishes is early and park closes at 7. Your only options for MSEP are Mondays (PM EMH), Saturday (high crowd) or Wed, the 12th. If we do it at all, we'll do the 12th. Also, MK and Epcot AM EMH switched that week.

Thanks! MSEP is a must do at the request of our nurse and since she so willingly took off a week of work to travel with us I need to make sure we hit all her "must sees". Maybe we will attempt to see it on arrival night with the 12th as a back up if it rains. That would make arrival day a MK evening instead of Epcot, but that works too. With PM EMH hours on Monday it might make for less of an "end of the night mad dash to the bus" situation. We will just stay through Wishes and stroll on out then. One can hope, right?

Thanks for the info. If anyone has CS dining ideas away from the standard of burgers and fries please let me know. I eat grain free, but that can be as simple as just requesting no bun.

MK:
Pecos Bills has options beyond burgers. Their taco salad is fantastic.
Pinocchio's Village House also has great options beyond burgers
Cosmic Rays has a lot of variety.

AK:
Flame Tree Barbeque. Awesome food and it's not burgers

Epcot:
Really any of the World Showcase CS have great options that are not burgers.

DHS:
This is the most difficult for me, as I don't really like any of the CS places in DHS. Starring Rolls Cafe has Sushi and specialty sandwiches that you could get bread free. They usually close early though (usually by 5) so if you want to eat there for dinner check a map for their closing time. Studio Catering also has different sandwiches besides burgers.

Check out allears.net for menus for every restuarant in WDW including the parks, resorts, etc. :thumbsup2

Good news - FIL is feeling optimistic and his swallowing is improving. They haven't said anything about the trip specifically and we haven't asked. But I'm taking that as a good sign. From here on out I'm assuming Plan A though I won't cancel Plan B until the last minute.
