Q: I did sign us up for the CP dinner package on 12/30, but someone said this is a waste of money. Does anyone have any experience with this? I was thinking it was really necessary being this time of year.
TIA!
ksromack ~ Your oranments were awesome!!!!
OT ~ Today I made my first ever apple pie from scratch including the pie crust and it was delicious!!! Im sure the local orchard apples helped!!!
This is for our May disney trip but you guys are so helpful... what resutarant besides CRT would you do for a girl's 3drd birthday???

I have an apple pie in the freezer and need to make another to freeze for thanksgiving. We are loaded with apples... Made apple chips tonight and they are a great snack!!
What about Akershus - what are her favorites? My daughter is three (and my other 15 months) and we have CRT, Akershus, Chef Mickey and Crystal Palace and I know my 3 yo will love them all. We are also going to Coral Reef which will be a hit bc she adores aquariums.... I think there are sooooo many options in disney that it depends on your daughter and her interests.Yeah I know I didn't help!!
So I have to say I love the disboards... Stumbled upon a thread about upgrading UT tickets and I need to make sure I use them first to get the gate value! Just saved a few bucks!![]()
Thank you! I applaud you and your apple pie efforts. I am 50 years old and have NEVER made an apple pie from scratch! My grandmother was such a fantastic pie maker, I knew I could never be as good so I never tried![]()
CRT is the perfect choice for a young girl's birthday....I would also suggest Be Our Guest and Akershus in Norway at Epcot! We're doing those three this December!
oooh how do you make the apple chips??
DD loves Disney Jr except Jake, Winnie the Pooh(movie),Tangled, Beauty andd the Beast and live action Sing Along Songs.
Are you looking to avoid CRT? If she likes Winnie the Pooh, she should in theory like CPI was showing my daughter Characters via youtube just to see her reaction and just like in Disney I think she was trying to figure out a way to be with them!! Also, you could maybe do a princess day and maybe pick out something special, go to BBB (we are going to stop by and get pixie dusted) and go to BOG. I really wonder when they will start including Rapunzel, Tiana and Merida in some of the character meals.... My daughter loves Rapunzel and Tiana.... I think a meal in the park is super special and then with a the other extras you plan (whether its a pirate make over or just holding hands down main street) the day is going to be super special.

I ended up buying tickets for MVMCP (December 18th)I may keep this is a surprise from the girls and my husband, hahahahahaha!
Just start cutting it a bit shorter each time you go. That's what I did over the years. Then I decided to grow it back out since I'm lucky not to have gray hair at 50. I thought I might as well go for it since that's not going to last forever!
I almost always have nightmares, and they are almost always about my kids. Last night some guy with a shotgun was after us. We've been through tornados, floods, you name it.

So today hubby had to work so I finished painting the backsplash in my kitchen.......and I worked on some of my "princess etc ornaments" for my tree! I bought the frame ornaments from Dollar General and printed the clipart from the internet on photo paper and reduced the size to 2"x3". This is the finished product:
Ha! Love it!We were cleaning this morning and my husband surprised me with this. Too bad our cats don't appreciate it.

Tltorrez said:How many ADRs do you have? We generally do less than one TS meal per day. While we do love to eat, I rarely plan ADRs during park time.
Thank you everyone for the nice comments on my princess ornaments. It turned out to be a lot more than I was planning on but story of my life...not happy unless I make things complicated.
I ended up making 12 of the princess ornaments since y'all made me realize I just couldn't exclude any of them
Now what shall I do to pass the time? I already watched Beauty and the Beast today....now hubby and I are watching Peter Pan.

If you take off the DDP tomorrow could you add it back later? We're not doing DDP (except for one night, because we wanted Garden Grill and have a 1 night reservation at the beginning of trip before switching to our main villa), we're going all OOP but we like to share meals, sometimes have an appetizer instead of a meal, usually share dessert, and just don't want to have to worry about maximizing the credits, so DDP would definitely be too much food for us. We're also DVC, so we pay full (non-holiday) price for the DDP; that influenced it, too.Thinking about downgrading will be paying off my vaca tomorrow, right now I have ddp it's a lot of food my kids are 5 and 2 picky eaters also, I got the ddp because I love character meals
Anyone think ddp is too much food??
i will have to pay out of pocket for two meals, I'm unsure!!need to make my mind up
I guess my question got lost somewhere.
Does anyone know if eggnog will be sold in parks or anything special to eat or drink?
