I saw some of you talking about PP, we are trying to figure out if we will purchase it as well. We never have but we do a lot of character meet and greets and I am actually planning on doing even more this trip because that is what DD enjoyed most last trip when she was 16 months plus I think she will be thrilled to meet Belle and Rapunzel.

Phew... I will NEVER skip a day of DIS again! I stopped by the Disney store yesterday and got DD &DS some neat ”stocking suffers” for Christmas day. I got 2 tees for $25, a charm bracelet, a stuffed Minnie & Sorcerer Mickey. I've also bought an entire collection deck of Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom for DS and Pick a Pearl Cinderella carriage for DD. I'm wanting to fill up 2 gift bags, one for each with Disney & U.S. goodies and surprise them when we arrive ”home” (CSR) on Christmas Eve after dinner at 'Ohana.
PS I LOOOVE it when u pull up to the gate at the resorts and the security cm says, ” Welcome home.” - That thought brought a smile to my face =)

cybrkitn & SAT887- We'll be in AK on parade taping day too. I thought it best to avoid the craziness. Most of the day in AK anyhow, then going over to Epcot just for a Garden Grill reservation at 7p. And cybrkitn you're going to think my family is stalking yours since we'll also be in HS for the pm EMH on Dec 2.

A few of us will be at DHS on the 2nd! I'm hoping to bump into some of you while we're there so I can put a face to your DIS name and vice versa. Just make sure to have an LGMH tag on you!

I am looking to spread a little Disney holiday magic. If you have NOT yet purchased tickets and you will be entering DHS in the afternoon (for the first time that day) on 12/17 or AK on the morning of 12/19, PM me. That's the camera I got DS(almost)10 for his birthday. I had to pay separate for the case but I have Amazon Prime, so no shipping. DS is a budding photographer and his old camera isn't cutting it - it takes AAs and won't take an Eye-Fi card. So I wanted him to have a new one before the trip.

This actually helped sway my decision. I am so not a photographer, so I figured if you were buying it for your son, it would be good for me. And I figured you had done research on it so I didnt need to.

Man, I love all the suggestions and stuff that I got. I've been sifting through menus and such for the past half hour. They all sound so good! It definitely didn't make the decision any easier to read all about the food lol.

I'll have to browse it with the wife later and we'll hopefully figure it out from there

Another place here on the boards to check out is the Restaurant forums. They are very up-to-date on any menu changes that have occured. We initially had Kona Cafe at the Polynesian (Poly) booked based on the menu listed on both Disney's web site and Allears. Turns out there was a recent menu change and neither site has caught up to it yet. Same thing has happened with Yachtsman's Steakhouse at the Yacht Club (YC). I only found out about the menu changes from other DISers.

Due to the menu change at Kona Cafe, we cancelled our reservation and booked the Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club.

This is us also! well, not the blond part or height for that matter... LOL

But we'll be at DHS all day on 12/2 with a break for lunch/dinner at ESPN zone for Sunday football... I'm hoping we'll either catch the Saints (for me) or the Texans (for him)...

I like how you have a nice relaxed schedule! We're planning on DTD our first day as well.

Relaxed? Compared to our last trip in 2006, yes it's definately more relaxed. Although my mom would disagree with me on that front . Two days downtime is definately needed. Especially since we are doing EMH nights at the parks for the first half.
