I completely agree - I'm quite a strict Mum .... but I thought she'd go for a streak !

I certainly wouldn't do tatoos - I cried when she wanted her ears pierced

How cool that you taught middle school! What subject?

I taught 7th grade math one year and 8th grade social studies the other. Then there was a "budget redistribution" and a bunch of us were let go. Last ones on, first ones gone. After that I got back into laboring until I got my present position in IT.

Hi everyone! My name is Jason and I Just signed up and am happy to confirm our dates as 12/2-12/8. I'll be traveling with my wife and 2 girls, ages 6(7 when we're there) and 4. We're taking a family trip for the first time to DW. My wife and I had been there back in 2001, but not since. We're coming all the way from Alaska for my Daughters 7th birthday.

Basically I have no plans except for her birthday dinner. We made ADR for CRT on her birthday. Other then that I'm totally lost on what we need to do without coming home feeling like we missed out.

I'm looking at MVMCP and was strongly considering that. It's probably a dumb question, but is it worth it? I'm assuming it is as I know the kids would love it.

What tips do you guys and gals have that I can make my daughters birthday there one she'll always remember?

We're celebrating our DD's 7th birthday while we're there, also, Dec. 9th! We have an early morning BBB appointment, then we are having dinner at CRT. We're also doing the MVMCP that night. We loved the MNSSHP (my kids were 7 and 3 at the time), so I think we'll all love the Christmas party, also!

Sadly I sent it in for Toshiba to fix another issue and it came back broken. I refuse to send it back to them.

Yeah I read that, do they act silly like they do at breakfast and dinner? I think that is what DS and DH liked the most.

They run on the smaller size for everything men, woman, and kids clothes. More the length then anything.

That's a cute idea. We have a Belle storybook with her autograph. We're going to bring it back this time to get Gaston.

I'm off to Community Bible Study with my pumpkin cream cheese muffins. Hopefully I won't have a ton of pages to catch up on.

I cut 4x6 white card stock, punch a hole in the corner and put it on a key ring. Every day I take off the signed cards and add new blanks as needed. Super easy and convenient to carry.

Then I just keep adding them to a couple 6x6 scrap book albums with the pics. I had pics of the albums on the Part 2 thread. I'll dig those out.

Okay from reading the last 60 pages of the Part 2 thread ...

tltorrez - So glad your FIL was cleared to go on the trip by the doctor. Now you can let go of the backup plans, right? Or it sounds like its a hybrid now?

Okay, now off to read pages 2-42 of Part 3 ...

To clarify - he was cleared to go to their house in Florida. They haven't made a decision on the Disney trip yet. They're actually supposed to come home for Thanksgiving too but no idea if that will happen either. Florida is good for them - no staircases and good weather. His recovery is going well but still nothing definitive.

On an unrelated plan note - after we decided we didn't need BOG enough to squeeze it into the plan, DH tells me yesterday he thinks DSis would really like it, and could I squeeze it in? Ummm... BOG ressies now? No problem. I'll get right on that.
