Good morning everyone!

I've been MIA for a few days. Super busy with all the last minute wedding stuff.

I can't believe that this time next week I'll be married, and waking up in Disney.

I'm going to go back and read over the last few days activities. I hope everyone's planning is going smoothly. December is only a few days away!

Good to know you survived your bachelor party! :thumbsup2:rotfl:

Here's the problem with Disney in December...no matter how long you wait, you'll likely face some surprises.

We pretty much pack for anything. MOSTLY shorts and tshirts, but a decent selection of long pants and long sleeve shirts, too.

Even if you wait til the day before...you might know which way to more heavily "weight" your packing (more shorts, less pants), but you're probably going to end up needing both, anyway. Orlando weather (especially at night) can offer up some surprises....surprises you won't even hear about til the day of, or the day before maybe, their occurance.

This is my view completely! I'm taking a little of everything, but waited until today to check the forecast so I know what to bring more of. :goodvibes

Hi Dec DISers! Sorry I've been MIA - prepping for and surviving Thanksgiving sucked all my time for the past few weeks.

And on that note. :scared1: zOMG 14 days panic too much to do before then gah but yay!!!! :woohoo:

:offtopic:

I have no idea what to buy DBF for xmas. Anything he wants he buys himself. I did promise him 2 new shirts while we are at Disney. He loves the Hawaiian shirts at the Poly.

I'm considering an external battery pack for when we are out and his battery is going low.

But I'm really at a loss. He does so much for me..

:scared1::scared1::scared1: I forgot about earplane ears!!! I MUST get Motrin and sudafed and gum to fly. This is one of the reasons why I love it here! You guys remember everything!:lovestruc Also, I ordered the Photopass Plus CD last night...must do it at least 14 days out. We're all getting closer! Yesterday was my last day to order it...some of you still have time. Seems to be a great deal.:thumbsup2

Umm Hello!!! Unless I missed it, we never got a full report on the Bach Party!! :sad2:

Good to know you survived your bachelor party! :thumbsup2:rotfl:

Haha, I did survive. Although you might not have known that if you saw me yesterday morning.

It was an awesome day. We went and played paintball in the morning, and hit a few bars along the way to a really spectacular craft beer dinner up in the mountains.

After we got back into the Philly area, we spent the night at Barcade, an awesome bar that has a ridiculous amount of vintage arcade games.

Needless to say, I may have been a tttaaadddd intoxicated by the end of the night.

Totally worth it though.

FOUR days until the wedding, and we are officially in panic mode.

Haha, I'll keep everyone posted.

We leave a week from Wednesday. Now, we don't get to WDW til Thursday (we're at the Hard Rock Wednesday night, IOA on Thursday, and then check in at AKV that night), but I'm still counting it!

Awesome! We leave in 12 days but spending the first night at Royal Pacific Resort.....it'll be nice to have the early admission to WWoHP, won't it?

That early admission is precisely why we do a night at the HRH...that, and the Unlimited Universal Express pass. Makes it easy to do the whole park in one day.

Do a DIS search for Ultimate Packing List. That's what I use.

Thank you, I will do that!

Morning, it's Monday!! Time for my daily (sometimes more) post. One week from today we will be about 2 hours from arriving at WDW!! It's haircut day in our house. Luckily no one has asked for a Mohawk. DS6 usually just asks our friend (our neighbor cuts our hair) to spike the from 'like a dragon' after she cuts it. And DS2 just goes with the flow. Me, no big changes. Just a trim and some color to cover the roots and any Greta that have decided to make an appearance.

So Thanksgiving is over. This weekend we were debating with friends on when its ok to start playing Christmas music and put up the tree. Our friends DH thinks you can't do either till the calendar says December. Me, I say now. What about you guys. Do you have a hard line date? Or as long as the Turkey is put away?

Music for me started before thanksgiving... Decorating for us always happens the weekend of thanksgiving whichever day we have free.

This packing list is great! The kids and I are folding laundry :rotfl: hopefully it will be folded by the end of the morning!! Once I'm done I'm going to start getting all the non essentials packed and then make a checklist to for all the things to pack the morning of.

Sinus update- not looking forward to the plane ride if it doesn't go away. Ok I have a question- I have DD1 (17 months) and DD3. I've been giving them vitamins and feeding them things loaded in nutrients to keep them from getting the sinus infection. Now is there anything safe I can give them in a plane to not make it a painful trip? I am just looking for advice and plan on consulting the pediatrician on Wed when she is in her office...

Last trip DD was 16 months and we gave her dum dums for take off and landing and she did great.

I've made up my own for each of us based on what we need and will go over it tonight with DH. If I didn't, I can garauntee that we would forget something if I didn't do this.

DH asked me this morning if I could pack his suitcase for him. I then had to remind him of what I've been saying these past few days - each of us have our own suitcase and each of us are responsible for packing it. He looked at me and said with a smile, "So if I forget somthing, I'm screwed.". Um, yep.

Haha DH is on his own but I'm more worried I will forget something for DD and it will be all on me. Then again we are driving so we could go get something.

Apparently Levenhopper's been holding out on us. He made some himself. ;)

Anyone else want some? I have about a dozen I don't need for this trip. If your trip isn't immediate, I'd be happy to mail them.

Haha. I made them one day when I had a couple hours of free time between classes on campus. I ended up with: http://wdwprepschool.com/printable-customizable-and-cute-mousekeeping-money-envelopes/ Super easy to make, and I really liked the designs.

3 or 4 times. It's AMAZING.

My wife and I are foodies...BIG TIME.

V&A's is one of the best meals I've ever had, anywhere. Not the best..but one of them.

It's weird, I'd call myself a foodie, but I'm also a really picky eater, which scares me away from eating at a lot of prix fixe meals. I'd love to eat at V&E one day...but I'd be afraid I'd have a hard time finding something I'd like to eat.

I'm officially joining those of you with sinus issues. I just got back from the MD, who put me on two weeks of antibiotics for a nasty sinus and ear infection. I'm really hoping it clears before we leave. This isn't the birthday gift I was hoping for...lol.

Gum chewing, if possible, for the oldes helps.

Do they still make ear planes? I'm not sure what age they're appropriate for, but that's what I used to wear when I was a kid (prone to ear infections). They really helped.

I've seen the ear planes at Walmart

I called about upgrading to PP+ a couple of weeks ago, and I misunderstood what I was supposed to do. I thought I had to wait for an email before I could purchase. I called to follow-up today, and the CM said that if I haven't received my package by the time we left, that we could call them once we get down there.

We're at 11 days.

Where is barcade? I've never heard of it but sounds really fun

My anxiety is really bad today, probably because I've had a pretty stressful 24 hours, but...I don't want to talk about that. Wheeeeee... :rotfl:

Anyway, 16 days until we leave for WDW, which is only 13 working days.

My partner and I were actually talking about a possible Disneyland trip next year. It looks pretty affordable for 4 days/3 nights staying at one of the good neighbor hotels across the stress. We might have a Disney trip next year after all.

Check your southwest flights - there is a cyber monday sale today. I added $8 more to my travel bucks. Almost up to another ticket to Orlando, just have to worry about the back! (and of course the rest of the $$ it would cost to do WDW in 2013) :lmao:
