Yes, the little guy will most definitely be worth the trouble (and I promise to post puppy pics as soon as I have some), and it will be great to have him for Christmas!

I still wish our poor Beethoven doggie hadn't been hit by a car, but I can't bring him back, and at least Mom hasn't been so mired in grief since we found this little dude to add to our family. And there's no way our Brittany dog can keep laying around the house whining all day once the baby puppy comes home!

That's so sad.

I always joke that whenever one of our animals passes, I'll just replace it with a baby animal quickly. How can anyone be sad with a little baby puppy or kitten in the house?

Seriously though, I hope the new pup brings joy to the house, and yes please, post pictures!

Just checking in with everyone...too busy with work to post but, lurking daily...hourly, actually! We're getting so close! 19 days here!!! Day off today...need to book doggie daycare, MVMCP tickets, Photopass, look for a new suitcase, stop by TJMaxx to buy Burberry weekend...the perfume I paid $85 in England at Epcot that I found for $24.99 at TJMaxx...it will forever remind me of WDW so, I must restock! The Christmas music is on 24 hours/day...it's a great day!
PS. All of the horrible secret keepers in my house, including DBF have spilled the beans about a midnight proposal on 12/12/12, at MVMCP!!! Shhhh...I'm not supposed to know this!

a surprise update: this is the idea Carl, from AoA has for Daddy's introduction.

"We do a dance mob occasionally where we dance to a Little Mermaid song in the lobby. (You can see it on you tube if you search for Art of Animation dance). At the end of the dance we walk toward a selected guest in the lobby and end with raising our hands and yelling "hey". It is great fun and a lot is going on during the dance to keep the kids attention. If your husband comes from the back with a large poster of Ariel in front of him at the end of the song (guided by one of us to where you are sitting) then at the end when we say "hey" he can drop the sign and be right in front of you."

How awesome is this???

Then a move to the community board to chat. I mean, come on, there was a Grease 2! LOL!! :roftl2:

Once people return, I volunteer to start a Roll Call TR in the TR section so we can do features. We can also do teasers to our full TRs for people who are doing TRs. And more polls etc.

It is plenty sturdy. I wore 1 on our last trip. It held our KTTWs, photopass card and lgmh. The only thing was that it was too long for me. I didn't wear pins so it wasn't that big a deal. I tied a knot in the back of the lanyard, behind my neck. Served us well for the whole week.

I have always used those pockets and never had a problem, holding both KTTW and TIW and FPs etc.

I agree. This has been a great thread (every PART. Much thanks to tofubeast). But all these months have been great. The up's, the down's. The funny stories and the support. It has been great interacting with all of you.

Now... to avoid complete seriousness, YEAH... we totally kicked the November thread's behind

Second - I am in - for the group TR, not the baby. For the first time I have a reason why it's good DH isn't coming with us!

I think it's hard when one person is so excited and "into" something and the other is not.....dh is in no way as huge a Disney freak as I am....but I can tell he's really getting excited about our trip. You just come here and share excitement with us. I am worried about your ticket situation, though. I got my Universal hoppers from UT and they did come really fast in the mail....I suppose you could order at the last minute and have them shipped overnight. I think you'll feel better once your tickets are in your hot little hands!

I think you're totally right, had I had our tickets in hand, I might feel a little different about it and think, "ok, he's excited too and we're ready to go"... but last night, I finally asked what we were going to do about tickets. With UT you can pay for express shipping and get them within 5 business days. I asked if we were just going to buy them there instead and his response was "it's looking that way." So at least he's thought about it somewhat... either way I'M going in 10 days, LOL...

Good morning all! Crazy busy day so I'm just getting caught up while I grab lunch, then back to my crazy work load.

I was just looking at our roll-call list - we have a load of regular posters listed as Nov thru Dec arrivals!!!

How exciting!

I need to start keeping track - quote this and call out your date if you're leaving very soon ..... we need to help you pack!!!!

I'm leaving in 9 days, so I'll certainly take the packing help since I'm working at least 12 hours every day until I leave! Though I did get my list finished this past weekend, so that helps.

Tomorrow we're officially in the SINGLE DIGITS!! I can't believe it!!!

Sadly, I know next week, coming back to work from Thanksgiving, will be the longest five work days of my life!

DBF has finally gone off the deep-end... many of you remember how he requested we don't go into MK until after dark on our first day? And while at first, I was like "whatever!", I began to get into the idea of it so I've reorganized our plans to accomodate his wish...

Fast forward to last night, I'm kinda jumpin' around because I'm sooo excited to talk with him about our trip and our conversation goes like this:

Me: "Ok, babe, since we're starting off at AK or Epcot and avoiding MK until dark, where would you like to have lunch? We land at 11:30 and I know by the time we get to our resort, we'll be ready for lunch..."

Him: "Chick-fil-A"

Me: "really?! Cuz the 3 days a week we have that here isn't enough? Plus, where is there a CFA near the Hilton? Is it walking distance?"

Him: "no, at the airport - we'll just take our time getting to WDW and then it'll be less time to wait until dark"

Me: I know I gave him a look as if he were this guy -> and then I just walked out of the room...


Anyone intersted in meeting a solo traveler? I'll be there Dec. 1-5...

So, I picked up gift cards for the kids for their stockings and BBB invite at Kroger Sunday, normal Disney gift cards.

I go back to day to pick up the one for our KTTW card - AND THEY HAVE MICKEY AND MINNIE in holiday attire with SNOW

*POUT* I would have LOVED to have those for the girls.

but, now that the LAST card is bought, except for the little bit of cash we will take with - WE ARE DONE!!
