Gooooodddd morning!!

I can officially say "I'm getting married next week!"

12 days until Disney!

It's a good Monday.

SWEETT!

We've been a little...ambitious.

All the flowers/centerpieces/bouquets are all handmade by us, using paper flowers..

And next week we'll be baking 150 cupcakes, in lieu of having wedding cake.

Should be fun!

I'm a little ready for the honeymoon, if you couldn't tell.

But those 12 days sure sound busy!! It's going to be nice to get away to Disney and be pampered a bit!

Yeah, we have a bottle of champagne waiting for us for the morning after, with plans for breakfast in bed. Relaxation is just around the corner. :cool1:

Good morning all! I have such a busy week this week, working 12-17 hours every day for the next 7 days (including Thanksgiving)! But I'll be happy with my paycheck this Friday, and the one that will be waiting for me when I get back from WDW :thumbsup2

Oh, and I only have 10 days left!!!! pixiedust:

Thanks for the advice. :D

The "goes by too fast" sentiment seems to be one I'm hearing a lot. I'm hoping that the day before and the day of, we'll have some time to just relax and enjoy it. Although we are doing EVERYTHING ourselves. I think it'll be worth it though. :)

It does go by fast. The only advice I will offer is remember to EAT! I found that we were so busy visiting with our guests that we didn't eat dinner ourselves. I also recommend having someone box up a few of those cupcakes for the two of you for later.

Congrats! I'm so happy for you!

Cute, is this to decorate your window/door?

It's for the mini M&M tubes for quarters for the pressed penny machines. Quarters fit in the tubes perfectly.

Now that my quotes comments are out of the way.

Good morning everyone! 20 days here. Tomorrow it drops to to the teens!! :cool1:

I think tonight I'll go through my pennies and clean the ones I want to use. I think I'll also pack up a few more things that I don't want to forget. Yes, I know I have a spreadsheet but I have been putting things in my suitcase anyway.

Hoping it's slow here at work since it's a holiday. We'll leave around 3 on Wednesday and I already asked to work from home on NYE. We have two family dinners with his parents this weekend.

I can't believe we only have 2 more full weekends before we leave!

WOW ..... (and I don't mean World of Warcraft :p)

That book is amazing, I love how it is so personal and not 'uniform'. It is beautiful .... and if you don't mind, you have inspired me so I would like to do one similar. If I post pictures of it, I will attribute it to your wonderfully creative mind.

Woohoo! Thanks!! And I don't mind at all. I'm super flattered in fact.

And thanks to all of you who said nice things about my book. I am tickled pink!! :rotfl:

It's 17 days til I get to board the plane, and yet all everyone around me keeps talking about is Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Whatever! What are those compared to a week in the happiest place on earth? Can. Not. Wait.

Anyone planning on matching outfits? :rotfl: :lmao:

I LOVE that picture! I'm hoping we'll all wear matching tshirts on our trip, but that means I have to make them and time is running out. Too bad I can't stop by Macy's and pick up a couple of those outfits!

Good Morning!!!!

We're down to 10 days here and I'm going to check in online once I'm all caught up with work (and done eating my French Toast Sticks!)...

I'm SOOOOO EXCITED!:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Morning peeps! My kids are out of school all this week, so I'm working from home today, hubby tomorrow and wed we leave for Thanksgiving at my dads.

Today my oldest gave up a day of vacation to go volunteer at a family homeless shelter with her church youth group. Its her first time to go to a place like this, before she moved it to Junior High the mission projects for the younger kids usually involve packing and sorting stuff for other groups, so this is her first "hands on" experience. They are packing lunches to distribute to homeless kids, and helping out around the shelter. I imagine her little world will be rocked, but I'm very thankful she has a heart of service already.

My youngest DD is painting thanksgiving pictures, and I'm TRYING to work, but failing!

A friend of mine left from here yesterday for WDW, their first time, and she's been sending me pictures of their adventures - Im SO JEALOUS! I feel like this is my trip too bc I helped her plan. They are having a blast already today (followed advice and went early!). I picked up some Disney handwarmers at target, too cute!

Good morning everyone :goodvibes

My DD is off school this week so its gonna be a lovey week :) Is her birthday on Wednesday (12  ) so we might go see Wreck It Ralph that day, on the Saturday we are going for lunch at the American Girl store and going on a little shopping spree - thats her main gift, but I have bought her Monster High doll to open on her actual birthday ... don't know who loves those more, her or me :rotfl:

Awww, its so exciting! Got my big hat ready for the occasion :p

Good morning!

2.5 days of work this week :cool1:

We put up our Christmas tree last night  This was the only time DBF would be able to visit before our Disney trip so I wanted to make sure we decorated the tree together. It's lovely!

I'm getting nervous about the crowds for our trip. The only recent comparison is our Christmas 2010 DL trip. It was pouring rain the entire time and wait times were minimal. All walk on. I'm hoping I don't get frustrated with waits and crowds. :faint:

I wish work wasn't so stressful so I could start relaxing and getting excited again.

Wow super early but then when I read why, I thought that was super sweet - there's nothing like decorating the tree together :lovestruc

OMG - WHERE IS THE BLUNT SPOON???? I NEED TO GOUGE MY OWN EYES OUT!!!!

Well it sounds like you will have some time to de-stress from wedding prep!! That is amazing - I was a giant slacker for my wedding... I wanted to elope - so my husband and I came to a middle ground and invited 11 people up to Niagara Falls and got married there. Very simple, easy, had a private dining room at the inn we stayed at and it was pretty relaxing (minus the hurricanes that were hitting FL) Regardless try and take breaks and no matter what it will be a wonderful day - and remember it's your day and don't fret about guests!!

HA! Me too!!! We were on vacation in St Thomas, Virgin Islands .... hubby was all romantic, and said he could not leave without marrying me ..... I was like "YES!" I mean, perfect wedding for me, on a beach, just us, no invites to worry over, no flowers to order, no catering to stress over yadda yadda yadda.

I loved it :rotfl:

Just finalized my packing list. O M GEE, it's long! There is so much more stuff to take when you have a toddler. Thank goodness we are just 3 hours away.

Made a huge dent in preparations over the weekend, so I feel a LOT less stressed. I just need to finish up our park touring plans and finalize ADRs. (Don't worry, I am not holding on to anything popular at all).

TWENTY DAYS!!!!

Thank you much, and I'm unbelievably envious of that. :D

I think I'm going to save the eating for Disney. :D

We're making a mini wedding cakes to cut/for ourselves also, so there will be wedding dessert for us.

Hi all,

Has anyone had problems with Garden Grocer? It took me awhile to search and add items to my cart. Not too user friendly because not all of their items show up after the search. When my husband looked at it he wanted to subtract 3 and add 3. You have to email them to do this. It is part of their instructions. When he sent them an email they wrote back and asked him to start over. I told them that if we have to do that then we are going with another company.

Just remember to eat dinner. You will need your energy. When the ex and I married we ended up ordering a pizza later that night (at like 11) because we had like 2 bites of the dinner we worked so hard to pick out. :rotfl:
