Oh I am a black friday veteran. But the only thing I want is one of the video cameras that Best Buy will be running, and we have a $60 reward certificate, which will make a nice camera <$100. Last year hubby got the tablet BB was running Black Friday buy stalking the website all night and ordering it at something like 443 am when the sale opened online. If it wasnt for the reward cert I wouldnt even bother, but that makes a good deal a great one. So preview would be nice, then I dont even have to think about BF this year.

I used to do the BF mad rush shopping with an ex. It was a lot of fun. Especially at BB. We'd spend more on ourselves than on presents. :rotfl:

Lol. This group drunk in WS.....that would be a sight to see. :rotfl2:

We would have SOOOO much fun! party:

Ha! People only THINK those Brazilian tour groups are bad. Wait until they see 400+ Dissers drinking their way around the world :lmao:

But that gives me an idea - we could go during F&W! (which conveniently lines up with MNSSHP 'cause, you know, we'll just HAVE to compare that to all our MVMCP experiences)

That sounds like the best idea I've heard all day!! I'd love to go to MNSSHP.

Especially when we're in fuzzy pink handcuffs and our men our blindfolded... LOL

:lmao: I'm not sure how DBF would feel about being blindfolded but I don't think WS would know what to make of us.

Yay for first-time MVMCPers (like me!). I bought my partner and I tickets to it and I think it was a good choice. I can't wait to surprise her once we get there!

I cannot wait to head to WDW. I'm really glad that I added an extra night at the beginning of our trip. We'll have a full day instead of a half day on the 13th AND we won't have to deal with a super early flight. It'll be so much easier for me to head to the airport from work than from home.

Ok...thought I had it all figured out, but I'm second guessing things. I need opinions please!

Is Epcot really a green park on both Saturday 12/8 and Sunday 12/9?

Why is DHS red almost the entire week of 12/6-12/9?

Loving that Decemeber is right around the corner...then I can stop being so crazy  about planning and just ENJOY our vacation :cool1:

Sorry, I missed this until Wedgie commented.

Not sure which side is Red/Green because I never look at Recommended parks. On TP I use the numbers. On EasyWDW you have to read what he says for each day to get a good picture.

Looking at TP Crowd numbers:

12/8 - Epcot 2
12/9 - Epcot 1.1

That's pretty normal. Other than F&W, weekends tend to be slow. Saturdays everyone is at MK. Sundays are always low. Fridays are the busy day at Epcot.

For this whole period DHS seems to run about 3.5-4 during the week and 4-5 Fri-Sun.

Hope that helps.

This is a great idea. I would like to make an addition though. (see below)

Unfortunately, WDW got rid of their Grand Gatherings option because people actually took advantage of it (I still have the planning DVD that promotes it).

As for my addition. I am all for a dessert party and even a mid-day Dole Whip meet. BUT... I think there should also be a scheduled "Drinking Around the World" meet as well. I know, I'm a little obsessed with trying to accomplish DAtW. But hear me out. We can plan the DAtW during the day, after the dessert party and see if we can wrangle a BIG ADR somewhere or finish up at 1 of the QS. If we get a lot of people, we can set it up like a shotgun start for a golf tournament. Different groups start in different countries til you check off you passport.

We'll be drinking our way around Epcot nearly every night from Dec 3-14 (Plan B). So I'm all in. :)

Agreed. The plan for my trip is to spend both Saturday and Sunday at Epcot, possibly going to another park on the second evening if we feel like it.

And yes, DHS sucks. Ha! I have two days planned there, but one of them is iffy.

DFIL is a movie buff so we were hoping we might enjoy DHS more through his eyes. But Plan B has us going to do TSM, Muppets (refurb), Jack Sparrow (new), Ralph (new) and Star Tours (closed last time). Then leaving and coming back in the evening to see Fantasmic/Osborne Lights. We didn't hate it but it was definitely a do-once park for us.

Anyone else notice that we are past the 1/2 way point to Part 5?

Yep, at this rate Tofubeast will need to create part 6 before she leaves for her trip! or maybe even part7 since we have BF shopping, thanksgiving food and people leaving for their trips to discuss

So I've caved and will do as DBF asked - we won't go to MK until dark on our first day... :crazy2:

I know, I know - it's gonna be soooo hard, but I think it'll be worth it...

So rather than head straight to MK, we're gonna do AK first and get that out of the way. It's not a favorite for either of us but we do want to try and do EE, the bird show, and if we can, a safari... I'm thinking an ADR at Yak and Yeti might be in order! OOhhhhhh, for sure! (that just popped in my head, hence the excitement) the cream cheese eggroll dessert is on my list :thumbsup2

At first, I was like "ok, instead of MK first, we'll do the monorail tour of the resorts and check out the decorations." DBF said "no, those are at night too"... so I said, "ok, then let's get the souvenier shopping done at DTD and walk through there until we go to MK" and DBF says, "no - after dark too"...

I finally responded with "Look. I'm giving you MK after dark, we are not nocturnal creatures and we cannot do EVERYTHING after dark... We WILL go out during the day, we WILL see daylight in the parks and you WILL have a great time!"

Boom, done...

oh shiney ring, where are you... ;)

Welcome to all the new-comers!

Just found this thread! I will be coming with DW and another couple Dec 15-21 (BCV for the first three days then BLT for the last three). We're doing MVMCP for the first time Dec. 18!

We went last year before Christmas with the same couple and had a blast! We're looking forward to being back again this year!!

First time MVMCPer here but DBF and I will be there Dec 18 as well! Hopefully taking advantage of short lines!

Ha! I actually really like DHS. I just hate that it seems to be the more crowded of the parks, mostly because there aren't that many rides. Whomp.

I would just like to say, one month from today, I will be in MK. Probably deciding on where to eat for lunch, BOG or CHH. Decisions decisions :confused3 (which will ultimately be decided by the line at BOG ;)

Nice! In one month we will be arriving at BCV/ having lunch in EPCOT- this is a fun game!

Each day I'm getting a little more excited:goodvibes. I can't believe that we leave in just over 2 weeks and busy weeks they will be. Can't wait.

BFF and I love DHS. We have had a blast on ToT. Once we where able to ride with no one on and actually bought the pictures of that and multiple times have gone out and around and on again.

Funny store we where in and my Bff the talker that she is starting talking to this tall, cowboy wearing hat and boots kid(late 20's) and lets say nice looking. Anyway, he keep following us on the ride(went about 5 times in a row) and talking and laughing and even invited us to party with him that night. So first thought is WTH is he even thinking about us 40's girls, what type of guy is a WDW at that age by himself for a week(not to big a deal) anyways we didn't take him up on the party but laughed a lot about it beinig the great start of a horror movie. The ones where you think ARE THEY STUPID. Anyways, I probably didn't do the story justice in typing it but it really was funny. Did I mention that the kids where sitting acrossed from exit of TOT on the benches behind the coffee cart because they didn't want to ride and we keep snicking past them because we where having so much fun?

Yeah, and then that goofy teenage dance party parade comes through and no one can move. ;-)

Also it's the only park we've ever gotten lost in. It was dark and we were trying to find the exit but we just kept going in circles. Not well designed at all.

Yikes - one month from today we'll be in the Orlando airport, going in the wrong direction. :(

15 days for us!

And now reworking a whole new daily plan... :rotfl:

But I have to say, being just the two of us, it's really going to allow us to just go with the flow... :goodvibes

Buying park hoppers tonight from Undercover Tourist and doing express shipping for only $5... still saving us $35 so not to bad. Way I see it, that's at least 2-3 Grey Goose or Grand Mariner slushies at Epcot... :scratchin

Might have to start off with those nice little frozen babies :)

I am really glad I decided to leave on a Monday. DH thought it as weird but we wanted to start with MK and I wanted to avoid the Parade Taping. But now I think having the weekend to both prepare and sleep will be really helpful.

I'm glad now that I got some decluttering and Project Life done last weekend. Because the closer it gets, the less I'll be able to think of anything else. Main focus this weekend will be Christmas shopping, though for immediate family and in-laws that's also impacted b Plan A and B. Ugh.

Work is busy this week. So at least Im not climbing the walls. But I'm definitely tired.

In one month we'll be having lunch at Mama Melrose for our Fantasmic dinner package.

ok, I haven't caught up on today's post yet but wanted to let anyone going the first week in December that I found a 9am CRT and an 835 CP breakfast reservations for 12/5. I actually scored :cool1::cool1:an 8am CRT for that same day. The CM I spoke to at Dining was astounded:scratchin at how many CRT's she saw open for that specific day. So either someone was making major cancellations or something:confused3, I have no idea. So if you are still stalking get on there and check it out!!!!
