yes, that was me also. My Mum would be so proud
HA! that might be my punishment - I'm at the World in December and I get run over by an ECV driver as they are loading onto the bus whilst eating a cinnamon bun .... the EVC driver turns out to be my Mum![]()
How did I miss this post!!! I love weddings. Do I need to start choosing a hat? I have one chosen for Jordan and Abbys
EXCITING![]()
I have a lot to catch up on, again. But I may not be posting for a day or so (hopefully it will be shorter than that).
My family and I have had to spend the night at my mom's last night because we have not heat in our house. We've got plenty of fuel, but no heat. We live in my FIL's house and he thinks that it's the chimney that clogged. Never mind the fact that the burner is the 3 section type that he had put in in the 1950's

My FIL is 84 and can be very stubborn - meaning, no one else can do the job except him (he has always been that way according to DH). He just had full knee replacement surgery on his left knee and now his right knee is hurting really bad. He's compensated all these years by putting all of the pressure on his right knee instead of his left and now the damage has been done (his doctor told him he should also have the knee replacement done for his right knee). So he is not physically able to do things that he did when he was much younger. But as they say, "You can't teach an old dog a new trick." However, my FIL did tell me yesterday that he may need to call the person who worked on the burner before. I believe it's a friend of his that's in the business.
Thankfully, my mom is only 2 minutes away and she already offered for us to stay over if we needed it. And we need it now that the weather is getting colder.
Two weeks can't get here fast enough, lol! I'm looking forward to warmer weather in Floridacompared to this.
Do they really do this all in one night? I just can't imagine HOW?!?!

25 more days!!!! And guess who wanted to stop off on our way to grocery shop, last night...to look at rings!!!! Just to browse, of course!![]()
I said that all the cinnamon buns will be squashed flat and we will hear then scream.
I thought it was funny. Apparently not.
I went back and read the last few pages. That girl has some issues!!. Glad the virtual violence helped.
My day has been great. Watching tv. Checking menus and figuring out my OOP costs for breakfast and tips. Right around $200 and I tried to overestimate, not the $500 that DH seems to think it will be. But he will still say that is too much. I might tell him it is $300 and then act like I changed something to get it down to $200.He has no idea how much any of this trip has cost. Fun stuff comes out of my money.

PrincessAurora27 said:I tweaked the package that had the cheese and crackers in it. I really wanted the DVC Wishes package but we aren't DVC members.
The package contains: 2 toasting flutes, cheese, crackers, chocolate, a Mickey head shaped tray and is $66. The bottle of Asti is $18.95. I added the Sweet on You chocolate box at $18.95 and added a Mickey head bottle stopper at $10.95. I had them take out the cheese ($6.95) and the crackers ($3.95). My total with tax and delivery was $120.00
They have other wine/champagne options and even sparkling cider. The champagne they use for weddings is $34.95/bottle. And the even have Dom if you wanted to spend the $$. The non-alcoholic bottle is $10. I think she told me they have chardonnay, cab, merlot, pinot grigio and something else.
We're arriving 12/10. I ordered yesterday, not sure what they need in the way of lead time.
I was going to do a custom cake but we have DxDP so we will already have so much food.

No wedding...but, the kids and I may have mentioned to DBF that we will be at MVMCP on 12/11...which ends at 12am on 12/12/12...and wouldn't that be so magical...for say um...a proposalApparently, someone WAS paying attention!!!
These both made me LOL!! I am avoiding the cinnamon bun thread completely.
I thought Jordan had already politely told us we were not invited to the wedding.![]()
What? A wedding I can wear a fascinator to? I'm in!![]()
You SO missed the opportunity to enhance your post with:Just saying...

So this morning, DBF and I are talking and I'm going on about how excited I am that we're down to 16 days and I can't wait to be surrounded by Christmas and with my most favorite man... yadda, yadda, yadda, you all get the gist... yes, I'm feelin' the love today...
ANY WHO, DBF says...
"I know babe, it's going to be amazing. But I've decided, I don't want to get to the park until it's dark on our first day."![]()
Me: "uh, what? *** (Why the Face, ala Phil Dunphy)"
Him: "I want the first time I see Main Street to be when it's all lit up"
(Now keep in mind folks, we arrive at WDW at 1pm!! We have an ADR at 4:15 at LTT!!! ONE THAT I BOOKED WITH HIS 100% KNOWLEDGE!)
Me: "Aw, love... um, how's that gonna work? We have LTT at 4:15, remember?" (slowly dying inside)
Him: "Dunno"
Quoting Ms. Hannigan: "KILL, KILL, KILL"
see, this is why a nice shiney ring would be soooo wonderful right about now...
I posted. I had to. She kept saying "I can care less". That is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. I had to point out that I think she meant she couldn't care less. On the way I had to knock her down a peg. She isn't the only one with family with a rare disease.

1. How many days till your upcoming trip?
2. What do you have done?
3. What do you have remaining to do?
4. Are you decorating your hotel room?
5. Any outstanding ADRs you are hoping to snatch up?
6. Are there any last minute trip decisions you are still pondering? (i.e. attending MVMCP, ungrading/downgrading)
7. How do you feel right now? (Excited? Overwhelmed? Stressed? All planned out? "Meh"? In a planning frenzy? Festive? Confused? Dorky?)

Has he been to Disney before? I forget. If not, tell him he needs to see it in daylight to properly appreciate it once it is lit up. If he has been before, tell him too bad bub. We have a delicious dinner to get to.![]()
What number did you call for that? I love that you can customize! We're the stems Disney related? I feel the same way about the cakes. We're celebrating my 50th and our 11th anniversary but with the DxDDP there is no way we need more food....Asti....well that's another story![]()
