You show greater restraint than me ... I can't help it, I have to post. Its like an illness :(

I want to post... So badly but know its in my best interest and aggravation level not too...

yes, that was me also. My Mum would be so proud :rotfl:

HA! that might be my punishment - I'm at the World in December and I get run over by an ECV driver as they are loading onto the bus whilst eating a cinnamon bun .... the EVC driver turns out to be my Mum :rotfl:

You SO missed the opportunity to enhance your post with: :moped: Just saying...

How did I miss this post!!! I love weddings. Do I need to start choosing a hat? I have one chosen for Jordan and Abbys :cloud9:

EXCITING :cool1:

No wedding...but, the kids and I may have mentioned to DBF that we will be at MVMCP on 12/11...which ends at 12am on 12/12/12...and wouldn't that be so magical...for say um...a proposal:rolleyes1 Apparently, someone WAS paying attention!!!

I have a lot to catch up on, again. But I may not be posting for a day or so (hopefully it will be shorter than that).

My family and I have had to spend the night at my mom's last night because we have not heat in our house. We've got plenty of fuel, but no heat :cold:. We live in my FIL's house and he thinks that it's the chimney that clogged. Never mind the fact that the burner is the 3 section type that he had put in in the 1950's

My FIL is 84 and can be very stubborn - meaning, no one else can do the job except him (he has always been that way according to DH). He just had full knee replacement surgery on his left knee and now his right knee is hurting really bad. He's compensated all these years by putting all of the pressure on his right knee instead of his left and now the damage has been done (his doctor told him he should also have the knee replacement done for his right knee). So he is not physically able to do things that he did when he was much younger. But as they say, "You can't teach an old dog a new trick." However, my FIL did tell me yesterday that he may need to call the person who worked on the burner before. I believe it's a friend of his that's in the business.

Thankfully, my mom is only 2 minutes away and she already offered for us to stay over if we needed it. And we need it now that the weather is getting colder.

Two weeks can't get here fast enough, lol! I'm looking forward to warmer weather in Florida :beach: compared to this.

:scared1: Yikes! Hope your FIL gets someone to come and fix it. A lot of the people in my family are the same way. My Great-Uncle is in his 80s and still tries to fix cars up the way he used to. He almost killed himself last year trying. Thankfully that convinced him to at least make sure someone is there with him when he is doing things.

That's so amazing, and makes me more excited to see it in a couple weeks!!!

25 more days!!!! And guess who wanted to stop off on our way to grocery shop, last night...to look at rings!!!! Just to browse, of course!:goodvibes

:cool1::dance3::bride: Yay for you!

:rotfl2: I said that all the cinnamon buns will be squashed flat and we will hear then scream.

I thought it was funny. Apparently not.

:rotfl2: That's why I stay away from those boards, I want to say something too, and my thoughts would go over as well as yours! :rolleyes1

I went back and read the last few pages. That girl has some issues!! :confused3. Glad the virtual violence helped. :)

My day has been great. Watching tv. Checking menus and figuring out my OOP costs for breakfast and tips. Right around $200 and I tried to overestimate, not the $500 that DH seems to think it will be. But he will still say that is too much. I might tell him it is $300 and then act like I changed something to get it down to $200. :rotfl2: He has no idea how much any of this trip has cost. Fun stuff comes out of my money. :goodvibes

Good! :goodvibes You have options on the horizon, severance pay and a Disney trip ahead. Enjoy it!

So this morning, DBF and I are talking and I'm going on about how excited I am that we're down to 16 days and I can't wait to be surrounded by Christmas and with my most favorite man... yadda, yadda, yadda, you all get the gist... yes, I'm feelin' the love today...

ANY WHO, DBF says...

"I know babe, it's going to be amazing. But I've decided, I don't want to get to the park until it's dark on our first day." :faint:

Me: "uh, what? *** (Why the Face, ala Phil Dunphy)"

Him: "I want the first time I see Main Street to be when it's all lit up"

(Now keep in mind folks, we arrive at WDW at 1pm!! We have an ADR at 4:15 at LTT!!! ONE THAT I BOOKED WITH HIS 100% KNOWLEDGE!)

Me: "Aw, love... um, how's that gonna work? We have LTT at 4:15, remember?" (slowly dying inside)

Him: "Dunno"

:confused3

Quoting Ms. Hannigan: "KILL, KILL, KILL"

see, this is why a nice shiney ring would be soooo wonderful right about now...

I tweaked the package that had the cheese and crackers in it. I really wanted the DVC Wishes package but we aren't DVC members.

The package contains: 2 toasting flutes, cheese, crackers, chocolate, a Mickey head shaped tray and is $66. The bottle of Asti is $18.95. I added the Sweet on You chocolate box at $18.95 and added a Mickey head bottle stopper at $10.95. I had them take out the cheese ($6.95) and the crackers ($3.95). My total with tax and delivery was $120.00

They have other wine/champagne options and even sparkling cider. The champagne they use for weddings is $34.95/bottle. And the even have Dom if you wanted to spend the $$. The non-alcoholic bottle is $10. I think she told me they have chardonnay, cab, merlot, pinot grigio and something else.

We're arriving 12/10. I ordered yesterday, not sure what they need in the way of lead time.

I was going to do a custom cake but we have DxDP so we will already have so much food.

What number did you call for that? I love that you can customize! We're the stems Disney related? I feel the same way about the cakes. We're celebrating my 50th and our 11th anniversary but with the DxDDP there is no way we need more food....Asti....well that's another story :)

This is so exciting! Truely, as someone who would love something magical like this to happen to her, I really hope your trip is made even more amazing with a special proposal... I love it when our special men listen - makes us feel so good!

I mentioned that to DBF. I'm hoping he gets the hint. We'll be at CRT on 12/12/12.

I want to post... So badly but know its in my best interest and aggravation level not too...

I posted. I had to. She kept saying "I can care less". That is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. I had to point out that I think she meant she couldn't care less. On the way I had to knock her down a peg. She isn't the only one with family with a rare disease. :furious:

Has he been to Disney before? I forget. If not, tell him he needs to see it in daylight to properly appreciate it once it is lit up. If he has been before, tell him too bad bub. We have a delicious dinner to get to. :rotfl:

I hate that too!! Think about what you are saying. Does that really make sense?? :confused3

2. What do you have done? Only 2 ADR's and a semi-set park schedule

3. What do you have remaining to do? Shop, pack, BUY PARK HOPPERS :worried: and basically get the house Christmas ready before we leave!

4. Are you decorating your hotel room? would love to, just can't decide how?? Lame, I know

5. Any outstanding ADRs you are hoping to snatch up? Still wishin, and hoping, and prayin, and plannin for a dessert party reservation (I sang that, BTW - like the song at the beginning of My Best Friend's Wedding)... yes, I'm a cheese head :)

6. Are there any last minute trip decisions you are still pondering? (i.e. attending MVMCP, ungrading/downgrading) Sleigh ride/trail ride, which to do first: Osbourne Lights or Fantasmic

7. How do you feel right now? (Excited? Overwhelmed? Stressed? All planned out? "Meh"? In a planning frenzy? Festive? Confused? Dorky?) I'm feeling super excited but also insanely in love. I'm so in love with my DBF and really looking forward to having an incredible experience together :lovestruc

Agreed. Although we did get a little of the white stuff last week, didn't we?

We never saw any of it here in Our part of Berks County. I was disappointed as were my boys. I was ready for a winter wonderland the way they were talking.

1. How many days till your upcoming trip? 20 something .... I know, I'm laid back like that.

2. What do you have done? Trip itself is all locked in - ADRs, park days, what to see, La Nouba & MVMCP tix bought ....

3. What do you have remaining to do? Work out what clothes I need, buy clothes I need, pack, panic.

4. Are you decorating your hotel room? No, we're in a Royal Guest Room, its sparkly enough :goodvibes

5. Any outstanding ADRs you are hoping to snatch up? Nope, all booked including an early morning CRT ressie & a BOG dinner ressie

6. Are there any last minute trip decisions you are still pondering? (i.e. attending MVMCP, ungrading/downgrading) Nope. I don't ponder - I only get distracted by shiney things.

7. How do you feel right now? (Excited? Overwhelmed? Stressed? All planned out? "Meh"? In a planning frenzy? Festive? Confused? Dorky?) Meh!

1. How many days till your upcoming trip? We are down to 15 days!! :cool1:

2. What do you have done? I have my son all packed, I have most everything for me in the "secret closet", and most of the toiletries and park-stuff packed up.

3. What do you have remaining to do? DH has to pack, which is always a last minute affair. Even though I try to explain to him that we have limited time that night before after DS goes to bed, and he's with DS all the time at home during the day, he seems to think he'll be okay. I also need to finish my packing and do the double check.

4. Are you decorating your hotel room? Nope, no decorations. I'll enjoy the cool POR-Royal Room decor.

5. Any outstanding ADRs you are hoping to snatch up? Nope, I solved my "what day could we squeeze in MVMCP" dilemma by moving our Via Napoli reservation, so I got to keep Garden Grill.

6. Are there any last minute trip decisions you are still pondering? (i.e. attending MVMCP, ungrading/downgrading) No, I think we're locked in. I thought about trying to add a couple more "special" things for DS, but I think we've done a good job and I need to leave well enough alone.

7. How do you feel right now? (Excited? Overwhelmed? Stressed? All planned out? "Meh"? In a planning frenzy? Festive? Confused? Dorky?) Right now... It's a calm. I think I will be frenzied the weekend after Thanksgiving, when I'm itching to get home and tie up loose ends. Our dog will also be with my parents at that point, so I'll be trying to justify to DS why Belle is with Mimma and Papa and praying I don't blow the surprise :rolleyes1

YES! We were just there in June!!!

But I have to say, I'm kinda diggin the idea of not getting to MK until dark... Now, that I've come off the ledge, I can see how that would be incredibly romantic... Although if we wait until dark, it'll be incredibly hard to get a good spot for the Castle lighting - I think they're within 30 minutes of each other (dark and lighting)... So I said maybe we get to dinner at LTT and when we come out it'll be dark and we can go get our spot for the lighting?? don't know... :confused3

That was exactly my thing too. We SOOOO don't need more food. But I think the Mickey chocolate box is just too cool, and we can always bring it back with us. http://www.disneyflorist.com/produc...ne-Chocolate-Add-Milk-White-Dark-gift/display

I called Disney Floral. 407-WDW-GIFT (407-939-4438)

I ordered this package but tweaked - http://www.disneyflorist.com/produc...eyworldflorist-toast-champagne-cheese/display

The glasses have Mickey heads etched into them. I was considering getting new flutes when we were there anyway. The cleaning lady just broke 2 of ours the other week. Thankfully they were just cheap clear ones.
