But I know exactly how you feel. BDLsgal and I don't do a lot of vacationing. We go for long periods so we can save for a special vaca. As luck would have it, the vaca's for 2010 & 2012 are in the Happiest Place on Earth.

In fact... 4 weeks from this very second, we will be checking in for our 1st meal. Lunch at Tutto Italia. 5 hrs later, Garden Grille. And a couple hours after that, Blair Underwood and the CP.

PS: Today is new sneaker breaking in day. I have 4 weeks to get these puppies comfy so I can have the option of sneakers.

We take one big vacation a year and its currently WDW (my mom gifting us her DVC has helped) and the others tend to be "staycations" with day trips. This vacation is extra special for us bc of all the family that is involved and we have been saving as much as possible to make it "magical" we tend to get so burned out we are in desperate need of WDW! I need my bubble of happiness and magic!

Nervous!! Received one counter-counter offer on our house that was the same as their initial offer (we can't afford this) minus paying for the pest inspection and haven't heard from the other. They have until 5:00 today. Aaargh waiting is the worst.

I was at the vet earlier this week and this guy introduced me to his puppy, Sparticus. Thought that was a hilarious name.

I had the stomach flu a couple of months ago and lost 5 pounds. The exact weight I needed to fit perfectly into a bunch of jeans that were too tight the week before.

I love Lightroom. I don't shoot in Raw so I use it strictly for the organization. And some minor editing. I do love the non-destructive editing so I can crop or change to B&W without having a dozen physical copies of the same photo.

I'm still mostly a paper scrapper but I've always used my computer for journaling and photo editing. I was hybrid before that was a even word. I do some digi templates though and then print them out.

I guess I just need to play with Lightroom more. It's the editing I want the program for - especially being able to apply the same edits to a whole group of photos instead of having to do everything one at a time.

Even with the paper I always used the computer for journaling too. My handwriting is freaking BAD, and I never could stomach the idea of ruining an otherwise great layout with my scribble!

Good luck on your sneaker breaking in day. I love my new ones so much that now I am trying to decide when I need to stop wearing them so they dont become "too" broken in.

Just got the confirmation from the breeder that she got our contract and everything is good, which means we should be able to pick up our new Pembroke Welsh Corgi fur baby Thanksgiving weekend!

Guess we'll be fighting over puppy names all weekend now (but I still LOVE the idea of calling him Walt )

I'm SOOO relieved we found this little guy so quickly because this is the first time since we got the news about poor Beethoven doggie that Mom has actually sounded happy about something and not mired down in grief. She and our other dog won't have time to sit and mope with the new baby puppy running around the house.

Yay!! So happy for your family. Cant want to hear the name.

The breeder is supposed to email me some more photos this weekend, and as soon as I get them I promise I'll figure out how to post pictures on here (does anyone know where I could find instructions on how to post photos? ). I'll let you all know what we decide to name the little guy too.

But it breaks our rule of not having more than 2 syllables in our pet names. Easier to give commands without a mouthful of dog name

I have the Kindle App and the Barnes & Noble reader app on my iPad. Since I typically don't read with it outside I don't see a need to buy a new e-reader right now. I can read books from both right on my iPad.

I have a Sony e-reader but barely use it.

Same here. I've learned to deal with my print but don't ever expect cursive on my layouts. If I want a handwriting look I use CK Ali's Hand font. I love her handwriting.

I have Kindle for most of my books. I use iBooks for generic books I didn't get from Amazon; it's a little easier to manage. And I have GoodReader for just PDFs.

All if them will read PDFs but I like the way GoodReader syncs with Dropbox. I just keep my PDFs stored in Dropbox and they're always accessible.

I have the Photobucket app on my phone, I can upload to it from the phone and also copy and paste the codes to share the photos on here
