Just bear in mind that no one knows what FLE will do to crowds. So beyond a certain point they're just guessing here. My plans have us at DHS and Epcot. I'll probably leave as is.

We're at DHS on 12/6. It's our arrival day and only chance to see OL. Crowded or not, at least we're at Disney :-)

If the DISigner is active you can always ask for personalization. But I tend to do them myself. Sometimes you get lucky and find your child's name. Depending on the design, sometimes you can just cover up the old name with a text box. On the Holoday Passport cover I used Photoshop's content-aware deletion to make a blank. If you look really closely you can see the pattern is off.

I want to do them myself. I just don't know how to fill a Mickey Head with a different background (ie, ones with snowflakes, etc).. That's the kind of blank I'm looking for, it that makes sense.

No kids on the trip, this is all for me. I swear I'm 41 going on 6.

I'm using GIMP fwiw.

Gooooood Morning, fa la la la laaaaaaaaa ! *takes a bow* Thank you, thank you.

How are my friends today??

It's Friday. 30 days until we leave! Beyond that I'm cold and sleepy. I really don't want to be at work.

I am making a t-shirt for DH and I. Very simple design that I found on pintrest. I will post after I do them this weekend. I think it is just going to be the Mickey heads, haven't decided if I want anything printed on them. I am also doing a "drinking around the world" passport, just need to get some cardstock to print it on.

Would you be willing to share your passport? Please? I've been looking for a "drinking around the world" one and the only one I found was dated 2009 and the Disigner isn't active anymore. We plan to drink around the world with one of our local friends on possibly the Saturday of our trip.

Squee!! 30 Days!!! I just downloaded the book From Screen to Theme to my Kindle app. It's so cool the places some of the characters are "hidden". :cheer2:

Does anyone have a preferred Hidden Mickey app for the iPhone?

Do you have Photoshop? The easy answer is to use a clipping mask. I just learned how to make one when I did those Skylander buttons.

Edit: just realized you're using Gimp. I don't know that program. Does it do masks?

I updated last year from PSE to CS5. Though of course PSE keeps getting better. I'm starting to get the hang of it. This birthday and Disney stuff has really got me moving forward.

It really is amazing how much more you can do with CS5 once you figure out how it works. I'm lucky - I get one heck of a discount on Adobe software because I work at a school, otherwise all I'd be able to afford is PSE! I pretty much figured everything out in CS5 by playing with it. I made a LOT of UGLY scrapbook layouts at first :upsidedow

Now Lightroom I haven't figured out yet. I even took a class and that program still makes no sense. One of these days I'm going to have to break down and actually read the manual.

That's a good question. I'll look when I go home..

ETA - It's free which is why I'm using it. I considered buying Photo Elements because it was pretty cheap too.

Good morning!!! It's Friday!!!! The last 2 Fridays, work has been crazy. Today hasn't started off too bad, so hopefully it will be a quiet day. And it is nice out!! Will be in the 60's today-Sunday after several days in the 40s and 50s. Yay!!! :beach:

I got my Mickey Mail last night! I started dancing around the kitchen singing, "Mickey Mail, Mickey Mail, Mickey Mail Mail MAIL!" My husband informed me that I am certifiably insane.

I knew what you meant ... our best friend married us, and since he got the license anyways, his parents got re-married the month before us and had him perform the ceremony so he was fond of saying "I married my mom [best friend] [dad]" for awhile just to see people's reactions. Once you have the license apparently people will keep asking because he's done two other weddings of close friends in the two years since then ...

This is actually the fourth one he's done. People found out about the first and he averages about one a year now, LOL!

I love Lightroom. I don't shoot in Raw so I use it strictly for the organization. And some minor editing. I do love the non-destructive editing so I can crop or change to B&W without having a dozen physical copies of the same photo.

I'm still mostly a paper scrapper but I've always used my computer for journaling and photo editing. I was hybrid before that was a even word. I do some digi templates though and then print them out.

I found a Drinking around the World passport by Donatalie from 2010

Here is the cover with the date changed to 2012

Admission time---

I have tears in my eyes. Just looking at MK all decorated. WOW. We haven't had a real, real vacation since before getting preg (actually last time was at WDW too). I am just so excited to have a week away from the hells of work and have a true FAMILY vacation with our 2 year old. I can't wait to see MK all decked out with my own eyes.

I will be skipping down Main Street. DH can handle the stroller.
