Thank you!!! I think I can figure out how to swap the black for something else. I'm having too much fun with this Disigning stuff!! Lol

I have a 3 day weekend this weekend! I decided to take Monday off since I know it will be slow. So plans for this weekend include...working, but just a few hours of overtime in the morning on Saturday. Then we are off to my nephews b-days party, he is 8 :lovestruc Can't wait to take him to DW one of these days (if his parents let me). Sunday I plan to do a little shopping for me after paying all the bills :crazy2:
I also want to see Wreck it Ralph.

Should be a great weekend!

I am making a t-shirt for DH and I. Very simple design that I found on pintrest. I will post after I do them this weekend. I think it is just going to be the Mickey heads, haven't decided if I want anything printed on them. I am also doing a "drinking around the world" passport, just need to get some cardstock to print it on.

Wow that looks great! I'm glad I'm getting on a cruise ship on Dec 6, since apparently every park is going to be crazy, but also glad we chose to stay the week after so we don't miss all the new stuff!

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I knew what you meant ... our best friend married us, and since he got the license anyways, his parents got re-married the month before us and had him perform the ceremony so he was fond of saying "I married my mom [best friend] [dad]" for awhile just to see people's reactions. Once you have the license apparently people will keep asking because he's done two other weddings of close friends in the two years since then ...

It's DS's 6th birthday on Sunday! I'm thinking the local park where they have mini golf and those water-shooting boats with him and his cousin. Even though he was 2 weeks overdue, I like that he was born on 11/11 since its the only date DH can remember (he can't even remember his own birthday all the time).

Every park??? Please tell me not Animal Kingdom because that is where we will be just by accident.

AK is the only one with our a 'grand opening' that day. So unless the masses are trying to avoid the grand openings it should be quiet at AK I would think

Hmm ... don't know how accurate TouringPlans is, I bought a subscription because I wanted the line app for my phone (and have been loving their mapping tools for attractions), but here's their prediction. They say to go to Epcot and avoid Animal Kingdom:
Thursday, December 6, 2012

Today is the official opening day for Test Track at Epcot and New Fantasyland. We expect Test Track to have been in soft open mode prior to December 6. If you are going to Epcot, get your FASTPASSes for Test Track early. New Fantasyland has had dress rehearsal, previews, and previews since mid-October. New Fantasyland may have an opening ceremony that will preventing touring in the morning. We are recommending Epcot because it has the lowest per park crowd level. Epcot's crowd level is below its weekly average. Today we recommend avoiding Animal kingdom as it has the highest per park level.

Overall Crowds
Crowd Level: 3 out of 10
Crowd Notes: New Fantasyland Opening Weekend

Magic Kingdom
Crowd Level: 4.7 out of 10

Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season at 9:30pm

Disney's Hollywood Studios
Crowd Level: 3.8 out of 10

Fantasmic! at 6:30pm

With all the parks under a 5 level though, you're probably safe anywhere ...

I'm scrap booking all weekend long in VA Beach! Hubby was so sweet about it that I almost want to bring him with me! Alas, we have no one to keep the kids.
I'm working on Christmas presents this weekend. I make calendars for the grandparents, and this year I am doing them digitally for the first time. Hopefully I won't want to :badpc:

That sounds like fun! DH is out of town so my plan is cleaning, Disney and catching up on Project Life.

Thank you for posting the link to the Personalizing thread. I've been playing with this the last few weeks. I really wish I could find more blanks and I'd love to have an unfilled Mickey head to play with too.

If the DISigner is active you can always ask for personalization. But I tend to do them myself. Sometimes you get lucky and find your child's name. Depending on the design, sometimes you can just cover up the old name with a text box. On the Holoday Passport cover I used Photoshop's content-aware deletion to make a blank. If you look really closely you can see the pattern is off.

What program are you using for the digital scrapbooking? When I first switched to digital and was trying to figure out Adobe CS5 I had a LOT of :badpc: moments. Now I love it and can make stuff that looks way cooler than anything I ever did with paper in 1/2 the time and TONS cheaper since I'm not having to buy tons of supplies.

I'm dragging my laptop with me to St. Louis this weekend when I go visit my parents in the hopes of being able to get at least a couple calendar layouts done too! Tis the season for craft projects!

I updated last year from PSE to CS5. Though of course PSE keeps getting better. I'm starting to get the hang of it. This birthday and Disney stuff has really got me moving forward.

AK should be fine. I'm going to evaluate my plan to see about switching.

Just bear in mind that no one knows what FLE will do to crowds. So beyond a certain point they're just guessing here. My plans have us at DHS and Epcot. I'll probably leave as is.

And this just goes to show why I ignore the recommendations. And only look at the numbers aK is only marginally higher than usual. If it shifted a tenth of a point they'd probably shift their recommendations, which is silly.

DH is working about 80 hours this week. Add my 15... Doesn't leave a moment for me to attempt it by myself... I just hate how the two kid cart leaves it open for them to grab at everything!!
