How are all our friends in the North doing today?? Did you get snow? I'm not familiar with the geography up there so I am trying to work out who may have been in the snow path.

Or how about using one of the new Simple Stories Sn@p binders and doing something a la project life. Make some journaling cards ahead of time that would be easy for your son to carry with him in the parks to jot stuff down on. Then he could put the journaling cards together, add in some ephemera and pictures and embellish if he wanted.

Now there's a thought. Now my brain's really spinning because I decided that I'm going to use one of their color schemes for next year's Project Life. I anted the simple bright colors. Though I'll do my own digital title and journaling cards, so I was trying to convince myself that I didn't actually need any of their paper products.

I'll have to ask him about this though. He seemed to really want the eclectic (he just learned that word), collagey look of a Smash book. Personally I love the cleaner lines of the pocket pages but not sure he'll go for it.

I'll have to watch the video at home but I'll look up the brag books. Thanks.

Me too!!! We were out of creamer this morning so I was in Kroger before coffee and had a little notice print out of the catalina machine, which made me right in the store.

We got flurries overnight, but no accumulation at all. We got more rain/sleet than snow, and the roads are all dry by this morning, thankfully. My thoughts are with those north of me who are still recovering from Sandy and now have this too.


On a more Disney note, 3 weeks from today, at this exact time, I'll already be in Orlando, and hopefully on DME heading to POP!!!!!

What a great way to throw you off by planning something. Maybe not, but wouldn't it be fantastic!!

I would be in total and complete shock. Like can't talk, breathe, move, slap-me-I'm-stuck, shock... I'd probably say something completely stupid or worse ask him "why?"... yea, that would be me...

Anyone else excited that with the 1st MVMCP of the year being tomorrow night, 48 hrs from now, all the pics of this year's MVMCP specific merchandise will be making their rounds?

Just think about it... Shirts, pins, blankets, household items, decorations... AWESOME!

I'd completely forgotten about the merchandise that comes with MVMCP! This is going to be my first Disney Christmas anything! I can't wait. I really do get all girly with emotions at the thought of what it will be like to be there at the Osbourne Lights or at Candlelight Processional... I think the household items and decorations are going to be what I look forward to the most.

Anyway - I need some Disney scrapbooking-related suggestions.

So any suggestions on iPhone apps

My daughters use an iphone app that lets them build photo collages with their pics. This would be a great way to take multiple photos and build them into one so it would cut down on the number of pics you'd have to actually print. I'm sorry I don't know the name but it's used with Instagram and it's an editing app... so helpful I know.

So yesterday I realized I left something off my ToDo list - order the wine shipper box so that we can bring back a case of sake.

Not a big deal. But now I am utterly paranoid that I've missed something else. My life is totally managed by my lists; if I can't trust them, I'm screwed. Ack!

We got the girls appointments for BBB, its going to be a surprise. Since we are there starting CE, Santa is coming to us at Disney! yeah!

Anyway, I want to give them an invite to BBB and enclose a gc to pay for the BBB, cus I cant say its from Santa and whip out a CC to pay for it after we are done.

I want something cute - but I really have no idea where to start.

Y'all got any ideas?

Diptic maybe? I have a bunch of photo apps that I rarely use. Ill have to look. One issue us that DS is currently using my old iPhone 3G (with no plan.) That means we're limited to things that will run on iOS4.

This is actually causing me some issues. See, I ditched my iPhone when I got the iPad. But I'm a minimalist in the parks so no iPad there. So I usually just carry DS's (my old) iPhone. Of course previously I didn't have a WiFi connection. I was really looking forward to that. Except last night I realized Evernote will no longer run on that device. Ack! My entire trip is in Evernote.

So it's not the end of the world since Touring Plans will run. And all my ADR #s and important info will be in those. And DH will have his phone in case I need to look up something from Evernote. But I feel weird not having it immediately at hand. I have so much info in there.

To make things even more frustrating, we got DS an ipod Touch 4th gen. (Refurb) for Christmas. I actually have the device in the house. But it's his big present and Christmas is already going to be small this year, so I don't want to give it to him early. I know, seriously first world problems here.

My first thought was Kevin Kolb, the football player.

Those women do wonders though.... it took me a while to get over the anxiety of it - and so glad I did! I don't go for pedicures often enough but I do enjoy it...


On a side note- DH has to work today- which means no haircut I actually don't think I can get it cut before vacation now and I'm disappointed.

I love getting pedis. I try for one a month, but I'm waiting to get the next one until right before we leave.

I'm working from home and feeling guilty about it since it's not that bad out. To top it off the internet here at home is down so I tethered my phone. That made me feel ultra guilty that I'm not in the office.

In the Disigns section there are wonderful Disigners that can make you individual invitations. Some of them are gorgeous!

I so hope if he should shock you that someone is nearby to photograph your reaction! My DH was actually scared I'd say no when he proposed because I didn't say anything at all after he asked. I was totally surprised. We had discussed marriage but I had no idea he was going to ask then!

About that app - DD uses it too, it's really fun. Terri, if you want to use it and can't find it, remind me later and I'll check with DD when she gets home from school
