I would love to have another Fantasmic show added during our days but don't think the volume that early in Dec would call for it. Maybe on parade taping days though - that Sunday would be ideal!

The smaller size is awesome! My 14 year old however is not happy I'm wearing her jeans... :confused3 go figure? You don't want mom looking like you? LOL... but in all fairness, I've always been a slender person. I've just started working out more consistently with DBF and the toning up is what's making the size change. I'm thinner now than I was in college but had a way better um chest back then... I tell my girls they've taken the best of me! LOL... ;)

That would sooo amazing if you got a proposal on 12/12/12 at 12!

Do you watch Modern Family? This last episode with Cam and his fat jeans reminds me so much of my jean shopping experience. As much as I love the idea of shopping for smaller clothes, I feel like I need to maintain this newer size for at least a few months before I invest in clothes. I'm too scared at getting rid of my older stuff. Good for your husband to drop the weight!

Let me just say, DO NOT venture into the Planning Our Happily Ever After area of this forum... some of the wedding journals and vow renewals people have at WDW are really amazing! As much as I would love to marry at WDW, I don't think that would fit me and DBF but Disney Fairytale Weddings does do some great work! princess:

No my girls would not go for that either...although, they have no problem "borrowing/stealing" my things!:rotfl:
I'm SURE there are some amazing wedding plans there...I don't even dare!!! I can't even handle Pinterest on some days! I'd just be so happy with a proposal at WDW...and then a small wedding here...as in our backyard...not kidding!:rotfl: Or maybe Maine or Vt...with just us and our kids and parents.

A proposal doesn't have to mean jewelry. I got a computer for my engagement. That computer launched my career, so I think it worked out pretty well. :)

Nope, can't agree with you there sister... I'm sorry, and I realize this may come off as a little girly-ish, but I want me a ring! A nice sparkly ring! Lucky for DBF, I have petite hands so he's off the hook for buying a big rock, but yes indeed, I would like ring! LOL :p

The way I see it, the ring is on my hand, the hand is attached to my body and therefore always within sight, right? So in the event DBF happened to act a fool for whatever reason, the ring being sparkly and shiny would help HIM appear less wrong/foolish/delusional or whatever by distracting me :teacher: ... so there, it's in his best interest... it's more for him than me!

Just to clarify...I don't NEED a ring if it means being able to have this trip and a proposal. HOWEVER...I'm NOT saying that would not absolutely LOVE a ring! We've picked one out...and it's pretty sparkly...but, if it means choosing between this trip and that ring...I'm picking the trip! LOL...I love your thinking, regarding keeping him in check!:rotfl:

Sad news: I don't think Abby and I will start dating while we're in Disney.

Good news: We're dating now! :yay:

I wish I could say that it happened in a really special/unique/romantic way, but it was surprisingly low key. We we texting all day while I was at work, and out of the blue she texted me "how about we finally make this official? we talk all the time, we're practically dating as it is."

:dance3:

YAY!!!! I love it! She sounds like a practical woman! Next is the text that says, "hey, you, me, married, tomorrow? K"

Awesome for you and Abby! And with Disney right around the corner too! That's really going to make your trip more magical... :wizard:

Completely agree with family vacation coming first... my thoughts were more along the line of yes, proposal for me does indeed mean jewelry :rotfl:

But in all honesty, for as much as I love my DBF, he's not someone who thinks along the lines of "hey, wouldn't it be amazing to pop the question to her at WDW during our trip?" he's just not that kind of planner/thinker...

When it's meant to be, blah, blah, blah... hahahah

FWIW, Accuweather is now showing the forecast for Dec 1.

http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/orlando-fl/32801/december-weather/328169?monyr=12/1/2012

No snow in Disney world. :)
I'll be super happy with weather in the 60's during the day and 50's at night. Hope they're right!
Tomorrow is DS's 5th birthday. My boss has a cookie business on the side, and I commissioned her to make Avengers cookies for his class treat. They turned out excellent:

He's going to be so excited!
Those cookies are amazing!
LOOOOVE MOPS! Helped me survived the preschool years. Now that we are in the TWEEN almost TEEN stage, I just need a drinking group. Or rewind back to preschool. :lmao:
:rotfl: See this is what I'm afraid of. I didn't really enjoy the toddler years, and DS has been so much fun from 4-6 I wish I could just freeze him in these elementary years and not have him turn into a teen.
We will be there on the 9th - its late EMH (I schedule all my park days around late EMH ... my motto is don't avoid, embrace :teeth: )
Yay for late EMH! I'll see you at all of them too! Love Disney at night! :drinking1

:cool1::yay::yay::yay: That's so great! Long distance is rough, but it sounds like you have a great relationship already so taking it to the next level is just wonderful. So happy for you guys!

oh, and I may have mentioned to DBF that WDW and Cinderella's Castle is the #1 proposal place in the US... :rolleyes1

Fingers crossed he got the hint!!!!

Spa=wonderful! I have two separate visits! My friend canceled on me and I scheduled it to go alone!

I had a massage scheduled the last trip, but cancelled it. I'd love to do one this time, but since I just added CRT and a CP package I'm paying for OOP I don't know if I want to add that expense too.

Sorry, no, I don't watch that. I find that I don't watch prime time tv as much as I did back in the 80's. There are only 5 shows that DH and I watch. Two of which are in-between seasons right now - Dr. Who and Fallen Skies.

I hear you. I've been on that up and down cycle as well. Right now, I'm ever so slowly losing the weight while DH loses it much faster b/c he's got a bit of help. But I'm looking forward to going from a size 16 petite down to about a 12 or 14 petite. My biggest problem is losing the baby weight I still have in my lower stomach after having DS 10 years ago! It's the hardest place to lose!

You totally had me! I was afraid to read the rest of your post, but I'm glad I kept reading!! :cheer2::lovestruc

Too many to do a multi-quote.

I'll add to the Coke Zero list while I'm down there. If I see it somewhere I'll add it to the list.

I bought a plastic zippered document pouch to put everything in. I use the smaller ones for coupons in my purse. I put my Mickey mail, my MVMCP tix and my Mousekeeping envelopes in there.

Thanks for the Spa link! I think it's out of my budget for this trip.

Despite the issues we DBF and I have going on, I've kinda wished he'd ask while we are there. But I won't get my hopes up, since I know he hasn't really thought about it or so he's said. I can't believe I just said that out loud.

It just started snowing!! And my PP+ came in today! As well as my new Doc Marten Mary Janes!

I'm right there with you... I'd love it if he'd ask while there, but I know that's me and my fairy tale imagination going into overdrive... So let's just keep it our little secret, ok? :thumbsup2

and OMG, when I read your sentence about snowing, at first I thought I read you just started "SHOWING"... LOL, that would've been more surprising than popping the question! :rotfl:

There are already EMH for that day...are you thinking they will add another PM EMH at HS? or another Fantasmic?

I'm hoping what they will do is extend hours to 9pm that night (its currently 8pm) and have a second showing at 8pm. Then EMH would be til midnight. They did this last year IIRR so fingers crossed!

My first number dropped and I didnt even notice!!! 38 days to go! Woo-hoo!! :cool1:

Ok, now back to read. :surfweb:

ACKKK! It's SNOWING outside right now ! On the bright side, I have been listening to Christmas music on Direct TV for the past 1-2 hours, so it fits :santa:!

Does anyone have Veterans Day off except the federal govt? I send to work for the VA and I loved getting this day off because schools were in session, so it was a day just for me.

Anyway, I wouldn't think Disney has it off. But it might just be too early. They generally release around the Mid month. But it seems to me it's generally earlier rather than later. But who knows.

Hmmm I guess you might be right. As a fed, I guess I never noticed whether everyone else was off or not. Fingers crossed for a 12th release day, then!

DBF and I have a plan, but it doesn't involve marriage for a few more years. Despite knowing this, more than once I've thought of "what-if" he asks during vacation! I mean it's perfect timing! :cloud9: But, it's never going to happen. It's not in the plan.:teacher:
