rebelbuddhist said:My wife and I are so very envious of you all! We can not vacation at WDW this Christmas--- first time in three years. Both of us have had surgery and are not fully recovered yet. We are beginning to plan a December, 2013, trip and will get on-line to make reservations on Dec 25th as a gift to each other. Anyone have experience eating at WDW after gastric bypass surgery? We enjoy table service restaurants like Tony's in MK, Yak and Yeti in AK, Hollywood Brown Derby in HS, and, of course, Le Cellier in Epcot. Will they let two adults share a meal since we can only eat small portions? Can gastric bypass patients order from kids menus at places that have them? Any experience/advice will be appreciated since eating a leisurely meal is a must for us at WDW.
If you're paying OOP and not on the dining plan you can share whatever you want. Not sure about kids meal. Try contacting Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. They're really great about special conditions.

whose is carrying my first grandbaby!!!!) yes I am excited
DD and SIL, he has not been since he was 5 and after my DD begged him to go still says "but I won't have fun" we will see about that
None of them have been at Christmas so I am excited to show them around. My DS is a Marine and deployed to Afgahnistan right now so we are spoiling our DIL as much as we can since this is a very emotional time for her (and us). Just saw that someone posted the weather which affects part of our trip.... all rain
hope that changes.

I have been on here a little bit today and read everything, just didnt comment. There is no news to report and honestly, it is frustrating and a little depressing. DH spoke to his boss, but the bigger boss is on vacation so he wont know anything until next week.
I don't know how I am going ti fit all this food in! DH is so picky so it will be me alone eating most of the yummy things I have heard about. Plus I am going to be overwhelmed with trying to track all this stuff down! I really should make myself a key as I read about all this goodness.
