Stuck in st Louis.....our plane was delayed 4 hours. Boo! Currently we won't get into Florida until 2am. been a long day already. Left at 6 am and drove 6 hours to catch the first plane.....stayed up till 3 am packing......have had hardly any sleep and doesn't look like we will get any anytime soon.....sigh.......BUT we are headed to Disney world

One week from tomorrow, we will be on our way to Disney for 10 glorious days!!!! I am sooooooo excited.... I never thought I'd say this but i just want to get Xmas over with! lol

Abby and I are home after an amazing eight days. I started typing up a trip report while in the airport, but only got two days done. :/.

I was reading posts while with the mouse during the trip, and I hope everyone is feeling better!

Hi Everyone! We also got in late due to our flight being delayed but luckily it was only by
1 hour. We left NY at 7:30pm and landed before 10. Disney's Magical Express stopped at two hotels before getting us to the Polynesian. We checked in around midnight and much to our delight got a room on the 3rd floor of Fiji facing the beach towards the Grand Floridian. Also I splurged and ordered a Christmas Tree for the room since we will be here until the 30th. It was the smaller of the two. I called the front desk today and asked if it could be put in our room so when we walked the kids would be surprised. It is really beautifully decorated. It is late now and I am exhausted. Getting up early to go to Hollywood Studios. Wishing everyone traveling a very safe journey!

Safe travels to everyone! we are in the car on our way to WDW. Just passed Louisville, kids are watching Toy Story 3. They were surprised but kinda in shock so reaction was low key...had to show them the packed car for it to sink in. And my DS9 was a bit disappointed at first that he wouldn't he home over vacation to play Minecraft. He is over that now! Have a great time for everyone already there

I am home. We had a good time. Didnt do as much as I thought we would, because of my cold and lack of energy. We seemed to do our favorites over and over, instead of doing other attractions. I will do a review on the other thread later. We definitely learned some things about how we want to do the next trip.

Are you guys flying? When are you flying back are rates really high? We plan on going the first Saturday in Jan '14.... It never occurred to me to look at airline prices.

We made it here and settled into our house nicely. A tip when punching in an address on your gps if you are staying in davenport use that as your city not orlando lol, or you might be driving longer than anticipated.
For any canadians coming down it is very chilly, not the hot weather we were expecting but it is expected to warm up soon.
Shopping at the outlet malls and flea market today.
Side note we picked up a 3 foot tree at walmart for 20 dollars.

After spending 16 straight hours at MK yesterday, we are taking a rest day today to do some laundry and recharge (been in FL since Tuesday). As a first-timer, I am absolutely mesmerized with everything I saw at MK! It warmed my cold, cold heart to see all the kids that got to meet the characters in the flesh. I couldn't stop being happy for them all. And my two highlights from yesterday were: Celebrate the Magic (loved it better than the parades or the fireworks) and the meet & greets. I never would have guessed that I had that in me! And special to all the CMs. Pleasant, helpful and downright happy folks! Made the experience ten times better.

And one thing I learned about myself: I dislike roller coaster rides!!! Hahaha!
