PART FIVE!! *December 2012 Roll Call* Holidays, FLE & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

My poor DD has really hard to manage hair (I don't know why) it goes crazyin humidity so all her photos she has messy hair LOL. When we were in Liberty Tree Tavern there was actually a woman in the restroom with her straightening irons - we had a good laugh about the humidity she told me shes been carrying them around with her everywhere :rotfl:

My hair turns into a frizzy mess in the humidity, but that's what braids and ball caps were invented for! Why anyone would mess with flat ironing their hair in the middle of the Magic Kingdom is absolutely BEYOND me. I mean, I can think of about a million things I'd rather be doing at WDW than straightening my hair in the middle of a public restroom :sad2:

This is my 3 year old - she has curly/wavy hair and under typical circumstances has beautiful banana curls. Hit the humidity and it is CRAZY!!! I absolutely love it. However, when she is older, I am betting she won't....

This is her hair in FL- 5 mins or 5 hours the humidity made it crazy!

I want to learn how to french braid --- A friend of ours has done it with two in DD3's hair and it was adorable! I just can't seem to figure it out. :guilty:

We leave on the 19th too! It's practically here :cool1:

If the lows still are in the 40s the day before we leave I'll toss in a pair of gloves and a scarf for my ears. If the forecast changes (yet again) and the lows are supposed to be in the 50s I probably won't bother, but then, I have a very high cold tolerance. Best advice is, if you think you might want/need a hat and gloves, I'd pack them just in case. Way better to have them and not need them than to not have them than to not have them and be miserable on your vacation!

DBf has very high cold tolerance so I'm not too worried about him. Looks like I'll take up majority of the luggage space! I'll still pack gloves and maybe hat and scarf for myself. We are heading straight to the airport on Wednesday after work so we'll look all silly in our heavy winter work clothes when we arrive in MCO. :rotfl:

Now I'm debating whether to do online check-in...:scratchin

I am rather embarrassed to admit I can't braid hair decently AT ALL. The only time mine ends up braided is on vacations when I can convince sissy to do it for me. She can do TONS of different kinds of braids. I guess that's a skill you pick up when dealing with a room full of 5 years olds all day, every day!

Can she teach me?! Hehe I always wished for French braids when I was a little girl and now I want to re live part of my youth via my daughters ;)

Not sure how many of you have Netflix instant- however they just put a ton of Disney movies on it!

BOO!

I'm back!!! :teeth:

Obviously, we had a fantastic trip but it was way to short. We learnt a lot about what works for us and what doesn't.

We've been traveling all day so I am knackered but will catch up in the morning on the gazillion pages I have missed and will do a full report.

You know what? I've missed you guys :p

We missed you!!! So glad you are back, can't wait to hear about your trip :goodvibes

Boarding passes are printed!! a25 and 26!!! Woo-hoo! Now I just have to stuff all my clothes into a suitcase and run around trying to figure out what I have forgotten. :rotfl2:

Have a great trip!!!

Hey gang! I just wanted to say thanks for all the ideas, support, and patience as I planned this trip over the last few months! Words can't express how grateful I am for everything!

Abby and I are on DME as I type this. It wasn't too bad of a wait, only 15ish mins. Let the fun begin :)

Have a great time there. :goodvibes

We ended up not going back to parks and resort hopped and things like that. We didn't get "everything" done but we don't feel like we missed out on anything either. I canceled our last days ADR to hang out in our villa as well.

Our vacation went too quick- way too quick! I look forward to our next family trip in Jan 14 where DD3 will most likely be 40" and DD1 should be close as well!!

We weren't able to resort hop. However, we did get to see the gingerbread house at GF. I was hoping to see the chocolate carousel but didn't realize that was over in the BC. We were at the YC & BC area for dinner at the Captain's Grill on the 6th and at GF for afternoon tea with my mom on the 7th. There was no way we were going to be able to get over to the BC to see the carousel.

And ITA with you - the vacation went too quick. I didn't want to come home and would have loved to stay just a few extra days.

Umm.....of course you didn't check in at Disney. You were on vacation and EVERYONE knows vacation food has no calories and therefore does not need to be tracked ;)

That's what I said to DH (the checking in part). It felt real good to "splurge" for 10 days though. And the best dessert was the sticky toffee pudding over at R&C. I felt like I was in heaven - it was that good!

Our first ADR of the trip is dinner at R&C. TOTALLY have to order that pudding now :goodvibes

I have photos from BWI, YC, BC, GF, Poly & POFQ. Will post to the group TR thread when I catch up on work and Christmas prep
