How do you set up your drive? Like when do you stop etc.... ? We've contemplated driving and it's 24 hours according to google....

Well..our kids are 17 and 9..so that helps..lol. We don't really set anything up..we just drive as long as we can stand it. We will try to leave here around 6am on Thursday morning..I am hoping we can drive until about 10-11. I know that sounds crazy..but we have driven 18 hours straight through to Texas before, so we are use to it. We will stop when the boys get hungry,we need gas or someone has to use the bathroom..otherwise we keep going. If we can get good hours in on Thursday..we should only need to drive another 8 or so on Friday. Should get us to Florida around...3-4pm. I'm not thrilled with it.. but it would be about $2000 for us to fly and we just can't do it.

I usually do mapquest but just tried google maps and it says 22hours 49minutes..lmao. We might have to use that

Wanted to let you guys know that I happened to be on the ADR site and noticed a CRT ressie available for 12/26 at 8:25! its available for at least 4 people!

I had this issue also so I went out to Accuweather and checked sunset time for our trip. Sunset was at 5:23 so 5 minutes into our show it was dark. Take a look at your date and see what time the sun sets. It's actually very beautiful at that time of day too because the CP area is kinda enclosed so you won't lose the stage presence and yes, once it's dark, it's even more spectacular! Enjoy it - we loved it!

I wish it was rainy here! It was -25 this morning here, looks like it will be around that temperature all week too! On the week-long forecast, it says our high is going to be -14.

That's what we had this past week too hovering close to the -30 with windchill! We had a high of -4 today though, felt like spring! Can't wait to get out of this weather for a few weeks even if it's rain!

One day left! I'm getting pretty anxious, I'm a bit nervous about flying but I'll be fine once we're in the air. The only thing that worries me is that I read there will be T-Storms on Wednesday, I hope it doesn't affect us or delay us :/

Yeah... Next year it will be about $1700 for us... Almost thinking about driving too... Except my kids will be about 2.5 & 4..... Not sure yet - hopefully we will be in NC by then and only a 10 hour drive! I almost think that we could leave after work and just drive while the girls sleep.... DH is good at sleeping in the car too so we could take turns.....

Well Thursday is the big day!! So excited to just get on the plane and be in Disney!! I'm not sure if I should bring shorts, the weather saying low to high 70s. I'm so excited I got chef Mickey for breakfast and couple other ADR I wanted to straighten out, I must of got very luck to get the adrs! So happy

We feel your pain! It was -25 this morning without the stupid windchill. The rest of the week doesn't look much better. This trip can't come soon enough! (although I hope magically all of you other December people have trips that seem to last for months! )
