PART FIVE!! *December 2012 Roll Call* Holidays, FLE & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

If it's too warm, bring your sunglasses because my white legs will blind you.

If I had my way, I'd be in jeans and a long sleeved shirt every day. Light jacket at night lol

Seeing that most of us are in agreement with high 60s, low 70s, it should just be so. (So say we all!)

AND because we all want it.... LOL I wont speak it.

:rotfl2:

Sounds like it was a great trip. :) I can't believe how fast it went!

Neither can I. Right now it's raining here in NY and I'm longing to be back in FL again. At least the weather is better than here.

I forgot you left before that got resolved. 5 more days! :cool1:

What is the photopass attraction card? Do you get all the ride photos? Do you remember how much it is?

The attractions+ card gives you unlimited PhotoPass attraction photos. The rides included are:

Space Mtn
Splash Mtn
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
TOT
RNC
EE
Dinosaur
TT

It was about $44/$45. We were going to just go with a download photo, but after talking with the CM at EE's photo counter, I decided to upgrade us to this card instead. This way we had all the ride photos. The next day, we decided to upgrade again to the PhotoPass+ so that we could have all of our photos.

photopass plus card. $199 I believe. you get ride photos and dining photos included. Preorder was $169 I believe but I didn't order it in time. You have to order 14 days before your trip since they mail the documents to you. Does anyone know if you can get the photopass plus once you get there?

Yes. That's what we did. You can get it at any of the photo counters. We got it over at DHS.

That's me too - although, it's not as bad this time as it was in June when we took our kids. I loved this trip too, don't get me wrong, but maybe it's because I know that we'll be back next Dec if not sooner for DD's 15th bday... either way, I'm passing the chocolate to you (via virtual portal) :thumbsup2

Me too. It's rainy here as well and definately not as magical as Disney!

How was your vacation?

I have issues. I would love to wear my jeans and yoga pants all week, but my shirts are all short sleeved. :confused3. So I cant have too cold or too hot. I did the same thing last year and it was way hotter than I expected. I did lots of laundry and wore my one pair of capris every day. I also bought and packed some Tide pods. :thumbsup2 I tried one last week to make sure I liked it.

Are you bringing a backpack or something with you? If so what about bringing a sweatshirt to use when it's cooler?

We wore our sweatshirts in the morning between 6:30 am till about 8 or 9 am. After that, mine and DS's went into my backpack that I carried around until the evening. But I think I only pulled out the sweatshirts maybe once or twice at night during our whole vacation.

I wish it was rainy here! It was -25 this morning here, looks like it will be around that temperature all week too! On the week-long forecast, it says our high is going to be -14. :sad2:

Did my on line check in this morning.....tried to put in a prefered room/view...computer said couldnt do it and to call the disney number.....so, I did that(Kids in the background are never good for theautomated system....kept hearing them and transfering-lol)....got through finally after locking myself in the upstairs bathroom to only be told "our computers are down"......CM was nice and took all the info down and said she will input it in once they are up and running again.....

now to work on the piles of clothes and what seems to be a million things to do before we leave.....#1 on the list is calling the schools for advance make up paper so 3 of the 4 can have all the work done before we leave.....

I fell asleep in North Carolina and woke up in Florida. In 2 1/2 hours the train will get into Kissimmee. I've seen palm trees and it's sunny!!!

Yay! Have a great trip!pixiedust:

Hahaha! I told DH this same thing...that my white legs would blind people!

I have a sweatshirt and a couple Ls to go under my cute Disney shirts. I can put them in a locker if I need to. Plus we are taking a break some days so I can grab something for the late nights.

Watching Prep and Landing right now. Ready for Disney and Christmas!!!!:santa:

How was your vacation?

Our weather was pretty perfect! Seriously, we couldn't have asked for anything better!

Vacation was so nice - it was nice to get away and just explore. No agendas or concrete plans... very relaxing...

bummer, I looked and looked for the green mickey heads to signify our "gang" but none were spotted...

We had a great day at DHS yesterday! DS4 hit the wall around 8 PM, though, even with an afternoon break. I'm so glad I decided against MVMC and park hoppers. We would have wasted our money. Maybe when the kids get older...

We had a fun morning at MK, but left a little after noon for a break. We'd going to head back in a bit for our CP ADR. I'm hoping to ride a few more things and watch MSEP.

Highlights of the trip so far are: Jedi Training, breakfast at CRT, and Enchanted Tales with Belle. I have 2 happy kids even if they haven't seen/ridden as much as I would have thought while planning.

Hi everyone! I've been mia for at least a month! I've been busy with do many activities here at home that I'd thought I'd never finish. I'm not quite finished yet, but I've got a dilemma that's been bugging me and I'm torn. I know you all understand me and will help me come to a conclusion. Here it goes- I have the CP package. I originally wanted Teppan Edo with one of the two later shows. I was only able to find a 5:30 show so I booked. But then I thought how much more beautiful it would be once it was all dark. So I booked another CPP with Via Napoli at the later show. BUT, I still wanted to try TE. SO, I was forced to book it for one of our other Epcot days. Which meant I would have to release my Whispering Canyon reservation for that extra TE. Should I just skip Whispering Canyon and keep Via Napoli late CP W/ extra Teppan Edo OR Just keep the 5:30 CP W/Teppan Edo & Wilderness Lodge?

I'm doing pretty much the same thing with shirts. I have a lightweight fleece Disney jacket that I can toss on over my t-shirts, and will take a couple of the Disney thermals in case I need the extra layer. The "extra" stuff I can leave in a locker or in the car.

It's what bottom layers to take that I'm confused about. Anything 70 or under and I'll be fine in jeans/corduroys, but if it gets up to around 75 or so I'll be WAY happier in capris, but those will be too cold if the low gets down to 50. Ugh. Decisions, decisions............

We had a great time as well. And I totally agree with you about the weather - it was perfect! Even though we had 2 down time days, it didn't feel like it was enough. DS slept till 10:30 yesterday, got up and then 45 minutes later went back to bed for another 2 hours.

I met 2 DISers while down in Disney - one in Epcot during EMH and the other on the Disney bus while going to DTD (which was Mom2rtk). I was also on the look out for LGMH tags but didn't see any others.

I had this issue also so I went out to Accuweather and checked sunset time for our trip. Sunset was at 5:23 so 5 minutes into our show it was dark. Take a look at your date and see what time the sun sets. It's actually very beautiful at that time of day too because the CP area is kinda enclosed so you won't lose the stage presence and yes, once it's dark, it's even more spectacular! Enjoy it - we loved it!

Just found out that DS has to work 4-8 on Wednesday(19th) :( I was hoping we could leave when DH got home and get a good 6-7 hours of driving out of the way. Not a major thing but was hoping to get to Florida as early as possible...we have a 24 hour road trip ahead of us. My nerves are shot(anxiety) and we still have a week and a few days before we leave..

How do you set up your drive? Like when do you stop etc.... ? We've contemplated driving and it's 24 hours according to google....
