OK...that was just a moment of pure insanity!!! I'm not going to change these plans now. However, I have been on hold with WDW recreation reservations to see what the status is with Illuminations cruises. And I will call in on the days we WILL be at MK to see if there is any availability for the dessert party. Phew...glad that is settled!!!:rotfl: It is NOT safe to leave me home, alone, with a laptop and orders to "rest."

Did you have a cruise booked? We're going on one on 12/10 I believe. A nice person on the DIS scheduled it an we're sharing with her. Did you book one or are you still looking for one?

Eek! Only one more week until we leave! I kinda can't believe it.

We have a quick trip to Michigan this weekend, so I know the time is going to fly by. I have all of our ADRs set, so I don't really have anything left to do, especially since I have all of my FP+ reservations taken care of, too.

Eek!!!

Same here....only I LEAVE iN less than 3 DAYS :). It doesn't stop me from checking reservations though :lmao:

Just checking in. Tried to do online check in today because we are at the ten day mark but I got a message that said the system was down. :confused3 I'll try again this evening. And, I still haven't received the Mickey mail that they resent. Hoping this is not a sign of some sorts.

Glad to see that everyone who is there is having a great time. I hope the rest of us can get ourselves ready to go asap.

We overlap in Epcot on the 16th, possibly at MK on the 17th, MVMCP on the 18th, and possibly Epcot on the 19th. Plenty of time for a quick hi!

I'm beginning to think all of us who are down there that week will be at Epcot on the 19th, which, according to my lovely calendar, is only TWO WEEKS away!!! :cool1:

I mistyped...we'll be in Epcot on the 20th, not the 19th :guilty:

We made it! Spending the evening at the Studios then up early tomorrow for EMH at the MK! Will try to post more later!

We are no longer day(s) away from getting on a plane. We are exactly 23 hrs and 45 min from boarding our JetBlue flight and on our escape from reality. Reading a few of the reports of people who are already reminded me of something. I can't wait to see the expession on BDLssil and BDLslil when they see the Christmas tree at MCO. Then, I get to tell them, that it will probably be the least jaw dropping moment of the next 7 days.

Getting the "excited 6 yr old kid at 3am on Christmas morning" feeling :yay: . I will be doubly stoked, if our POR rooms are ready early on Friday. That way, responsibility goes completely out the window.

Remember... Keep an eye out for a 6' / 300 lbs guy wearing Bruins or Patriots gear, with 3 ladies. Then you've found me.

We're checking into a Lion King suite at AOA on Saturday! Glad to hear that you like the resort! I'm hoping that DD5 and DS4 will love it.

My oldest and I walked the whole resort while the youngest & dad napped! ;) it's do much fun! I think your kids will love it! All the kids are exclaiming over everything as we walk around and there are play areas and pools throughout the resort!

My husband and I were just talking about how weird it is to sit in our hotel! Normally he calls me the Disney Nazi because of how busy I keep us. (hopefully no one takes offense there!) it's against our nature to sit & watch TV here. But nightmare Before Christmas just came on at least! We have dinner reservations at Animal Kingdom lodge tonight so he'll have to get up sooner than later!

We hit the road in about 3 - 3:30 hours. Hope everyone is well and if your leaving soon have a safe and magical trip.

Oh yeah I will be wearing a brown crossbody bag with Brevard Family written on the front in blue. And an attached LGMH please say hi!

Ohhhhhh. I think I'll print that when I get home from work! I wonder if they'll let me use it for a Disney GC?
Apparently it works fine for Disney GC. I'll be trying it in a bit so I'll let you know how it worked.

Wonderful! How is the foot doing?

Well, Mickey is even helping me take care of my poor pup. She got her cast off today and everything is going well (whew). Staples come out the day before we leave! Anyway, I had run out of turkey (finally!) that I was using to hide her giant pills in, cheese won't work fool her any more, and I looked in the freezer and found a bag of Mickey Head chicken nuggets! Yay Mickey! She gulped them all right down.:thumbsup2

Please let me know if it does. I was just at target last night but I will gladly go back if the coupon works! I got dh the yoda holiday shirt as well as a jack skellington shirt. And they were on sale! :)

The foot is doing alright, my ECV was waiting for me at Pop when we arrived. It's nice to sit even though I still have small amounts of walking to do, it's better than walking the whole time. We're calling it quits for the night and will be up early to hit the MK. I'm so excited to see FLE!

I thinkkkkkk that's it!! Totally do-able. No kids makes this easy. Driving makes this easy. DBF has to pack on his own and live with the consequences.

I love this post so much. Especially the part about Dbf packing. I totally feel you there. Not my fault he only puts in 10 minutes of prep work before leaving for Disney. lol

We had our down time yesterday and slept in until 9:30. I finally got the :laundy: done then started to get ready for the Yachtsman's Steakhouse. We loved it! The food was excellent!

Today is our second day for Epcot and tomorrow is our second day at MK. I called the YC,s health club and spa and made an appointment for a 50 minute massage on Friday morning. All of this walking has done a number on my joints. I'm gonna need it, lol.

One update I'd like to give is about The Legend of Jack Sparrow over at DHS. All I can say is that we were very disappointed. It's right up there with Stitch over at MK. Definitely not worth doing. I'll give more later. Right now we're getting ready to go to Epcot and I don't know when I'll lose the wifi.

Thanks. We opted not to wait in line based on what Josh said. Glad we didn't miss anything.

Sounds like you had a fun day despite the lack of sleep! I would love to hear some FLE tips! I'm having a hard time getting a handle on FLE for my plans.

Belle was the longest. I recommend doing that at opening. LM moves fast so not a huge line. The characters were 20 minutes each. Barnstormer was a breeze. Gaston meets in the corner next to his tavern.

It was super fun!

Dang, I can't even remember who to quote where when you all move so fast! Today I bought another suitcase, and some other little things I figure I may need. Then I made my list of stuff still to do in the next 3.5  days... it's long.
Things I would put quoted stuff before if I had the patience to go back looking for everything:
We are at dessert party on the 14th too, our time is 8:40.
Yay for slower days full of firsts!
Boo for icky Jack Sparrow, I had hopes it would be cool.
Boo for everyone's sicknesses, get well, people, you're going to Disney World!
I'm already at a too excited to sleep bit. DH gets on his first of several planes to meet us sometime in the next few hours!

After I BRIEFLY considered rearranging ALL of our plans to get a ressie at the dessert party on 12/14/12, I called WDW and inquired about doing a dessert party on 12/10 or 12/11. Actually, I had to tell the women on the phone, that YES, you CAN make dessert party ressies on MVMCP nights. She told me you could not...and then realized she was wrong. When she told me there was nothing available for the dates we will be at MK. She offered a Wishes cruise...there is still availability for that. I then asked about the Illuminations cruise. There is no availability right now but, she said to keep checking in case there is a cancellation. I did go to the thread about sharing a cruise...most people on that thread seemed to be "selling" themselves as "adult couples"...I don't think I would seem too appealling to be a party of 6, that includes 3 teens and a tween!:rotfl: But, still hoping to do one of those things.

To quote Garfield - That's Die with a T. I'll go back to the gym..
I will go back to running...and I will stop eating cookies for breakfast...and I will stop dreaming of cinnamon rolls and cupcakes...

What about an almost 40 yr old man from New England in a bikini?
Yeah... That's right. Drink it all in. :beach: All 300 lbs.
You are too funny! Who cares...we'll all be in WDW, where it should be 80 and sunny...and here it will be 30-40 and who know what...sunny, rainy, SNOWY?!?:confused3

Yes, that is in HOURS & MINUTES until we are at WDW!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

All I want to know is why does everything always happen the day before vacation?!? I mean, seriously, I was busier today than I have been for weeks! Blah! But who cares, my out of office messages are on and I'm going to Disney :cool1:

Now I really better get packing!
