PART FIVE!! *December 2012 Roll Call* Holidays, FLE & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

I think I need check CVS again.

DBF says there's an app called Google Drive that will let you access google docs.

I'm not exactly sure how I did it....but I downloaded Google Drive to my iPhone and I can see it from there......I can also see it from another app called "G-Whizz!". From that app I sign on to my google account and at the bottom are tabs....one of which is "DOCS". My spreadsheet it there too.

Thanks!

Sissy had used a frio pack for her insulin for years. It is a LIFESAVER on trips. She says it is the best travel accessory she has ever bought. They are super easy to use, work great, and I highly recommend them!

What's giving me pause is that the max temp on the frio (79) is higher than what the Byetta can handle. I have it, I'll talk to my mom about it, and at the very least it is coming with as an oh crap backup.

FWIW sissy's has never gotten anywhere near 79. Her meds couldn't take that either. And with it being Dec. odds are the high won't even be 80 during your trip, which will help keep the frio cooler. Our half sister is on Byetta and we kept hers in it during or DL trip last April with no ill effects, but we did put it in the fridge in the hotel room at night.

Did you do anything to keep it from getting damp in the frio? And thank you for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it!

No cupcakes today. I really wanted to get the mint one at Contempo cafe, but they did not have them out this morning. I ended up getting the Napoleon from the French bakery.

It was a great day.
I love your passport! You made that, didn't you? I would love to do that but how did you get those stamps for each country? Geesh, nothing like trying to throw together something a few days before we leave!

I'm glad I got the Chef Mickey ADR. Hubby, not so much :lmao:

Hi all!

We started the day at Chef Mickey's.

This afternoons we hit EPCOT and completed "drinking around the world". DH and I shared one drink in each country and had a CM sign and stamp the passport I made. All but two CMs were happy to sign and thought it was cute. (The two bartenders at the Mexican margarita stand laughed when we walked away and have us a little bit of an attitude)

Sounds like a fun day!! Cute pics from CM's :-)

Sooo....hubby says in front of his parents tonight: (talking to me) Next time we need to go to Disney World, just you and me, and stay in one of those awesome resorts. MIL says, "You need to go in October so you can be there for the F&W Festival." Me: ::goodvibes::

You are making me twitch!!!! Don't make me come there and pack for you!!:rotfl:

Did you put your shoe storage thingy with other things for the trip? I'm wondering when you will be ready to go? What time do you leave again? :rotfl2:

You are making me twitch over here!

HA! :rotfl:

My status is STILL the same :p I've been so wrapped up with this stray dog that turned up.

We leave lunchtime on Thursday. Oh well, its late so looks like I'll be doing everything tomorrow.... or Thursday morning :lmao:

I just booked my FIRST ever ADR..lmao...sooo happy that I wasn't too late..:cool1::banana::

Ohhh..it is at Epcot at the Garden Grill :)

YAY!!! Proud moment

We need a "like" button! :thumbsup2

So..I spent about 2 hours tonight making ADRs and finalizing our schedule. DH tells me I am obsessing..lmao. He asked if I really need to be making lunch/dinner reservations this early..:rotfl2: Ahhh to be sooo clueless ::yes::

Here is a brief itinerary---Kathy, Jordan and anyone else who will be there then. I would love to say Hi if it works out. It will freak DH out, so it may be quick.

12/15 DTD/AK
12/16 DHS/Epcot/DHS
12/17 AK/MK EMH
12/18 resort/MVMCP
12/19 DHS/Epcot
12/20 Epcot
12/21 DHS/MK/Epcot i know it's ridiculous, but it is the last day!

I have no mornings in MK. :sad1: I may try to go there on 12/16 at rope drop instead of DHS and then go to DHS later for EMH.

We overlap in Epcot on the 16th, possibly at MK on the 17th, MVMCP on the 18th, and possibly Epcot on the 19th. Plenty of time for a quick hi!

You know you are officially ready for your Disney vacation when:

-You look for your underwear, and realize it's already packed.

-You log onto the Disney dining site and are suddenly bored as you have no ADRs to search for anymore (not even for fun).

-You start doing touring plans for your friends who are also going in December, but do not know the ways of being a planner.

-You've made ever tweek possible to your own touring plans, testing out every potential snag or toss up.

-You have nothing to post on your PTR.

-You have memorized the exact shows time when Mariachi Cobre will appear.

-Your are posting a stupid list like this on the Roll Call thread.

Awesome!

Ah I am sad I didn't see you! I don't think I have seen a picture of you so I wouldn't have picked you out anyway LOL.

Today DH and I will be drinking around the world. We plan to share every drink, because I don't want to be drunk at Disney LOL. Tonight will be relax and pool time.

We had our down time yesterday and slept in until 9:30. I finally got the :laundy: done then started to get ready for the Yachtsman's Steakhouse. We loved it! The food was excellent!

Today is our second day for Epcot and tomorrow is our second day at MK. I called the YC,s health club and spa and made an appointment for a 50 minute massage on Friday morning. All of this walking has done a number on my joints. I'm gonna need it, lol.

One update I'd like to give is about The Legend of Jack Sparrow over at DHS. All I can say is that we were very disappointed. It's right up there with Stitch over at MK. Definitely not worth doing. I'll give more later. Right now we're getting ready to go to Epcot and I don't know when I'll lose the wifi.

I leave on Thursday so lets see where I am compared to my update the other day ^^^^^^^

Well would you look at that!! My update is exactly the same. No change here :rotfl:

I have to laugh because otherwise my internal planner would be doing the " hair on fire" dance on your behalf. ;)

Yesterday I tried my first hand at " go with the flow". Considering I had about 3 hours of sleep I think I did well. ;) We got to MK at about 9:30 on an AM EMH day. We decided just to knock out FLE and take several breaks and detours. I had a brief moment in the morning where Im like "we're only going to get 4 rides done today" but it really worked out. Of course it was a very low crowd day by design.

We ended up with almost an entire day of new experiences: Belle, LM, Sideshow characters, Gaston, cinnamon rolls, Lefou's brew, Barnstormer, the Tremaines, waffle sandwiches, sword juggler, SOTMK, pin trading, Country Bears and the monorail. No, we've never done those last two before. Then we went to Le Cellier for the first time.

I'll post some relevant details and tips when we have some downtime this afternoon. Also, I had battery issues yesterday so minimal tweets but I took a ton of pics that Im planning to post on Flickr later.

I will be at Disney tomorrow and I am so excited I could not sleep! Around 5:30 I just decided to turn on the lights and get up. We have to wake up around 3:30am tonight to get ready and be at the airport on time so i guess it will be good to be tired early tonight.

I just checked the weather forecast and it's going to be sunshine and 80s for most of our stay. That's really warm! I was expecting 60s so i might have to throw in another pair of shorts. It will seem much different than our last trip in that chilly December of 2010.

Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday today!

Sounds like you had a fun day despite the lack of sleep! I would love to hear some FLE tips! I'm having a hard time getting a handle on FLE for my plans.

Good morning my friends :goodvibes

I'm up early, so thats a good start .....

DD has been off school, would you believe she has croupe! I thought that a little ones condition but apparently not (adults can get it too) and my doctor says he is seeing more and more cases recently.

Not happy she's ill but glad we caught it just before (Monday the school called me and I took her to the doctor) we went to Disney because she has a couple of days to let the medicine kick in. Poor thing fell asleep at 4pm yesterday, woke up at 10pm, then went back to bed at 11pm .... this is someone who isn't usually impressed by sleep!

Spose I'd better pack today :teeth:

I love that you had a day full of firsts! I also am shocked that that was your first time on the monorail! :faint: Discouraged by the Jack Sparrow thing but then again, I've never ridden Stitch either! I'll be looking forward to your comments on the rest of your day later.

We have 2 more sleeps.....and I use that term loosely. :lmao: Hubby is checking the weather right now and it looks like now we'll have a chance of rain many of our days next week! 30% monday and tuesday according to yahoo weather (which is the Weather Channel). I'm going to make him keep looking for weather forecasts until I find one I like. You are right, though....a little warmer than I thought, too......I think I only packed 2 pair of shorts, but 2 pair of capris.
