How are some of you posting pics to a dis thread over the phone?

I have a photobucket account and use that app. If I upload from my photos to the app, I can then open a photo and click on the "i" which allows me to click on the "img" code to copy it, then paste it in a post.

Hey, all of you lucky December Disers who are already there- would you keep an eye out for any unique Christmas ornaments? I had heard there was a glassblower in the Germany section who would make personalized ornaments. Generally, an ornament is all I am sure to buy when we travel, because I am The Anti-Shopper.

Well, my peg-legged pooch is doing much better today, and these great pics and reports from everyone who has already arrived are so exciting- now I'm finally starting to look forward to this entire endeavor!

I'm going to Target and buy up a bunch of Disney cards with my Target card (that's like getting a 5% discount off everything at Disney), and pick up some odds & ends. Then download another DIsney movie onto the ipad, and order a Disney Trivia book from Amazon to get them in the spirit while on the plane. My sis sent the kids Disney gift cards for Christmas so with all this I think I've got the "goody" bag pretty well handled.

I'd like to know about the ornaments too! I'd love to bring something like that back for DBF's parents.

It has been a great day!!!! Got my hair cut and colored (sorry, nothing dramatic) and texted with my HR friend while I was there. I have a job!! She is currently negotiating the start date and pay for me. She told me the range it would be and I would be fine with even the lower end of it, but she is trying for almost what I was making at my old job. The start date is currently 2/13, but she is trying to get that moved up. I told her that date is fine with me, if I know I get the job. So excited!!! I was hoping this would come through before we went to Disney, so DH wouldnt stress over every souvenir or drink purchased.

OMGosh!!!! That is wonderful news! I understand your hubby was stressed....I know both my hubby and I would have been the same way. I'm so relieved you can eat! Darnit, that girl needs a steak!

I am sick (again, still, forever?), but finally back at work. However, I've finally in single digits (9 days!!!), so that is fantastic. I also think I have everything I need to our trip, so hurrah! I'm actually going out of town this weekend, so I know that our trip is going to be here before we know it. I cannot wait.

Yeah for the single digits....but boo for the sickness! It's good to keep busy. That will definitely keep your mind occupied!

So, what's the benefit of checking in online? I'm staying at the YC and don't anticipate much of a line at the counter. I don't really have any room requests, except maybe to be at the end of the east wing by the secret door that's closest to the lake & the walkway. I was kind of hoping to get an upgrade if there were any to be had.

I don't know but I did it too! It just made it feel so much more real. Mine was confusing, though because we have a room only our first night, then a MYW package for the next 7 nights. Our online registration was just for that first night.

Accuweather is starting to show rain for while we are there!

I know! I noticed that too.....but the thing is, we'll never really know until we are there. Weather is fickle!

From what I've read, once you secure the discount you can make changes to room, resort and dates, based on availability for that discount, even if the BB discount has expired.

We're going to book for our usual week but we're really hoping to see Air Supply this year.

Is the concert a special event at WDW? Is this during F&W? What week are we talking here? I know dh would LOVE to go back to Universal for HHN (Hollywood Horror Nights, I think) too.......this is very tempting!

I had said awhile ago "wouldn't it be so romantic to get engaged at WDW on 12/12/12" Apparently, he has been taking notes! Today he non-chalantly asked what my ring size is? We will be at MVMCP at 12midnight on 12/12/12!!!

And we'll be there at the party too! I shall keep my ears open for a big scream!

DH wore his Old Navy Griswold Family Christmas t-shirt yesterday and he got so much attention. 4 male and 1 female CMs stopped him to comment that they loved the shirt. And 4 male vacationers stopped to talk to him as we'll. DH accused me of being jealous of all the attention he was getting. LOL!

Oh, we're watching Christmas Vacation in about 40 minutes! I haven't seen this t-shirt at Old Navy....we were just there a few hours ago!

They have Eat to the Beat concerts during F&W. I think it is usually 70s and 80s groups/singers. Of course, the schedule doesnt get posted early enough for planners like us.

I have the photobucket app on my phone. Most times I can upload right from 3G and copy the img code to post. I did it only once and it was trial and error until i got it right.

I already have $250 in disney GC from Target. Friday I will go and get another $350 worth. I've already figured out our oop costs and tips and allotted a little extra for souvenirs. I'll go to the front desk to have them added to my room key periodically throughout the trip. I think that's how you do it?

I've let myself get behind reading this thread as I've focused on all the things that have to be done before our trip, but I am so Disney obsessed and excited right now I had to come here to share.

I just did online check in (never done that before and hope it was a good idea). I've printed out all our reservations and double checked that the scooter will be there. I can't believe this trip I've been planning and daydreaming about since April is so very close.

I know you know exactly how I feel.

Tomorrow, Wednesday and then Thursday morning, still dark and crazy early we will be off!

I am totally stressed and having some kind of pre WDW breakdown.. Just soo nervous about going..and the boys getting to see and do what they want..

I just broke out the suitcase, popped in Hanson's Christmas cd, and started packing! hahaha

I'm caving and going to the Dr. tomorrow to hopefully deal with some ear pain that I can't make go away. Then, trying to get some Christmas shopping done. That will probably take all day, so I'm trying to get what I can done tonight while no one is here to make fun of me for listening to Hanson!

I actually got out of the office and into the field today, it was a beautiful 76 and sunny day, perfect for field work. Little warmer than a normal Dec, but it was absolutely beautiful!

I just got the cards today. I hadn't received an email or anything prior to getting them. I might only utilize them for TSMM, LOL!

I'd love to use them for the Main Street Electrical Parade and Wishes, but we were going to do that our first night. Now I have to decide if I want to completely re-arrange the world.

Honestly, I'm not going to stress about the rest of them. I am totally psyched about the TSMM one though! I'm not going to rearrange all my days and ADRs just to have a spot reserved for Wishes. If I were going with crowd hating DH, sure. But with my mom - I don't mind staking out a spot in advance!

We spilled the beans to the kids tonight! We were going to get our oldest from school early tomorrow & tell them then but couldn't wait! It was priceless! Our two year old didn't get it but had a great time yelling and running in circles with his big brother. The oldest was priceless and didn't realize we were going so soon! It was awesome! And I still have to finish autograph books!
