When you were at Epcot, did you notice if the Candlelight Processional was crowded? I am trying to decide whether or not to get the dining package. Any opinions?

We didn't go to it- but it seemed very crowded to us- made the WS much busier than we expected at night.

Ok so I love love Disney customer service.

My new Minnie Mouse mug was badly chipped when I arrived home. I emailed them asking if I could purchase it and have it shipped to my home - well they are sending me one no charge!!!!! :D

Thanks! I will be bringing my kids some shorts and my daughter some capris maybe sundress, I also have her two dresses for bbb her belle holiday dress and she also going to wear aurora

I don't think I will be bringing shorts for myself but some tank tops sounds nice!

When we were at Epcot for our second day on 12/5, CP was crowded. People were lined up on both sides of the stage. I overheard a CM tell one side not to worry that once the line starts moving it's like water through a sieve.

FYI: Those are the 2 different lines. Those on the left have the CP package, those on the right are in standby. I had the 5pm package on 11/30 and the package line went all the way back to France. We were all in within 10 minutes, then a couple rows of standby were allowed in. I know some of those standby people had been in line for over 5 hours waiting to possibly get a spot in one of the 3 shows.

One of the CMs there did say that the shows they had so far were the busiest she had ever seen, and she has worked there for years. Very few from the standby lines were actually getting in. Many were waiting 5-7 hours and never getting into the theater to see any of the shows.

If you have the option to do the package, I would say to do it so you can guarantee to get in. Otherwise you could be waiting most of the day in the hopes of getting into one of the shows.

Ok so I found the photopass code! Totally forgot about the cd they sent!!

Now all I need is pics from DHs phone and I can start on my photobook....

We got our PhotoPass+ at DHS and we don't remember getting anything other than the lanyard and the credit card receipt :confused3. We just got to the PhotoPass counter a few minutes before they were closing and it looked like they were not sure how to do ours since we were upgrading from the Attractions+ card (we already had our pictures moved over to our regular PhotoPass and had received the refund on the Attractions+ card). Basically, we never received the promo code in order to get the CD.

I placed a call to Disney today and was told that if we couldn't find it (or never got one after checking with my mom and DH) to call back. So I'll have to do that tomorrow since DS has his school Christmas concert tonight. I really hope they can help us out. We have 156 photos on it!

I don't know how anyone can wait for 5-7 hours on line for an event at any Disney park ! You miss out on seeing the park itself, unless you are there specifically for that one event and not seeing the park.

I agree completely, but I saw people lined up when I first walked past at 2pm, and there were hundreds already. And only a few dozen of them made it into the showing I was in, the 5pm one, and I doubt the majority of them made it in either of the 2 later shows either. :scared1:

We leave in two days and you guys will not believe what I just did. I made a plane reservation (for a different trip) for my son in my daughter's name and didn't realize it until the confirmation email landed in my inbox.:scared1:

As a matter of fact, I didn't even realize until yesterday that she had no airfare to get her back to college after the end of Christmas break. It's like I haven't even thought about life after this trip to WDW.:lmao: So I had just made that plane reservation, and I think I just had her name in my head. I've made about 15 plane reservations in the last six months.

Anyway, by all rights that little mistake should have cost me a couple of hundred dollars by the time they throw in the change fee and cost of a non-internet booked ticket- but the agent felt so sorry for me he reissued the ticket for free.

THANK YOU, DELTA

Now, back to my previously scheduled panic.

If we have the package, what time do you suggest we get in line?

Everyone who gets the package is guaranteed a spot. There is a separate line for ECVs, so I'd ask a CM about that since they only take a certain number of them per show. Anyone else, they start letting in about 30-35 minutes before the showing starts. One of the CMs told me that if you don't care about getting the first few rows then to just wait until the line starts moving to sit, and then get in it. But if it is important to sit close I'd get in line at least an hour before the showing starts. :thumbsup2

There is just no way I'm going to back it back through the last few pages I've missed! Welcome back to all who've been to WDW..... and stay calm all those who haven't left yet!
Yay for the zero balance! I'm a true believer in warranty's and purchasing the extended warranty if I can.

See, this whole negative degrees garbage is just craziness... We had a freeze last night (got down to 30) and we're acting like the blizzard of the north is coming! We're Texans though, we don't do cold... all I know is the only hyphens that should come before a number should be the ones of a phone number... :thumbsup2
Around here it gets so cold we never even talk about the wind chill factor. I guess because people would be too scared to ever leave their homes!

Good morning everyone! I hope all those traveling are having a great time :-)

I'd be really bummed about being back already if I wasn't so busy! Work is crazy this week and we still need to decorate inside our house, bake cookies & finish off our shopping. It's just as well though, as I can feel the PDD creeping around the edges of my consciousness ;)

Have a good day!
Welcome back! Glad you've got some other things distracting you from the post-trip letdown. But look at it this way- if you hadn't had a great time, you wouldn't get PDD!

Sure would be nice to have the place to ourselves huh? :)

DD still isn't feeling the greatest. :( If no improvement today, I am going to take her to the dr. I am just hoping she doesn't pass it onto her sisters!
I am feeling overwhelmed with all that I still have left to do (packing, shirts, cleaning). ...... On the bright side, dh had his 4th interview for a job and he got the job yesterday! :cool1:Now to just negotiate the pay with HR and we'll be ready to rock n roll! :) It is so nice to not have to worry about whether or not he'll have a job when we get back from vacation.
That's so wonderful! Now you can have a real vacation without that worry tugging at your thoughts the whole time. :thumbsup2

I'm sure they will- the red cards aren't handed out unless you buy PP+ so I bet all you need is that and your receipt. :)

That's so kind of you to remember about my ECV. :goodvibes We are going to take a break in the afternoon (well, at least I am!) so I had hoped to leave it back at the resort. Now that I know the seating is limited, I definitely will try to.

Hi all! Hope those of you who are here are having a great time! I'm updating from MK. Here with a friend of mine and her kids. The older ones wanted to play on Tom Sawyer's island and the toddler is asleep in the stroller, so Mom took the kids and I'm chilling in a rocking chair across from Big Thunder with the little one. It is super humid today!! Almost feels like summer. We did have a little shower earlier. That plus tonight's MVMCP has kept crowds low so we're enjoying that. Planning to check out the gingerbread house at the GF before heading home :)

:offtopic: The scrapbook is finished!!!! I mean, completely, absolutely, ready to be wrapped, finished. Now I can totally focus on my Disney trip in 4 days!! I am beyond happy right now. :cool1::cool1::cheer2::cheer2:

That is fantastic! Yay for pixie dust :) (I would put the smiley here if I was on my computer!)

We did the dinner package and even though that line was super long when we joined, we had awesome seats. We got in line 30 minutes before show time and it moved very quickly.

One thing a lot of folks don't know is that once you're in the seating area, it's open seating. There aren't seperate sections for dinner and stand-by. So although the front section filled in quickly, there were still several seats, dead center available.

Actually, on the back of the card in the small print it says that in order to get the CD you must have the promotion code. I'm hoping we can still get it without paying an additional cost.
