PART FIVE!! *December 2012 Roll Call* Holidays, FLE & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

I have been so busy at work!!!

I think I have everything under control now, though. Whew!

I think the only thing I wanted to do was print out my list of counter service places and snacks I wanted to try. Oh, and look up cheats on Toy Story Mania. Haha! Are there any for Buzz Lightyear?

Not a cheat, but I can tell you the best Z of all to hit!!! In the 3rd room (I think it's the 3 one) where Zurg is in the evil ship-thing for the first time aim for the "Z" on the bottom of the ship (below the meter) you will get 100,000 points each time you hit the center of it.

There are other "Z" spots that are worth more than others. Like the first room on the robots hand, the top of the volcano, the second room at the top where there is a spinning ring hitting the "Z" on that gets you higher points. Those are all I can think of. Those mostly give you 25,000 points each time you hit them.

I was going to do it through the PP site, but it's not being very user friendly and I want to print 3-4 of them... Thinking, mixbook, shutterfly or snapfish. I have never made a photobook and I love all the Disney embellishments some of the ones I've seen have... I just dont know how to do it!!!

I've used Mixbook and Snapfish before and prefer Mixbook, but the only place that had Disney themed backgrounds, etc. for a photo book IS Disney's PP site. Other thing you can do is a book with plain backgrounds through another site and then buy Disney stickers and embellishments from the scrapbooking section at a local craft store. Sometimes I add extra blank pages to photo books too so I can glue in things like travel brochures, room keys, etc. from the trip.

Ok, I SO have to find a list of all these high point targets so I can beat sissy!

Kids are all called in and the 2 in HS, have almost all their work/time made up....Then I get the mail today to get a nice notice that they will have missed 5 or more days.....I paniced without reading/looking closely.....well the one DS15 will have 5 days-including the days we will miss next week-so he is fine.....not to forget that he has all As right now.....as for the DS17-he has a bit of senioritis....he will have a total of 8....guess they are counting his college visits.....

way to set me in a panic!....there for minute I was a bit nervous--they can only miss a max of 10 per semester without making up time and work......wow, I really need the vaca to come....

This would've been so freakin' useful to know BEFORE our trip... I was so excited when I beat DBF by 40K points because he always wins at everything! I've mentioned it at least once every day since our trip - can't imagine if I'd won by 100K! LOL, that would be crazy good rubbing it in! :rotfl2: and here I thought I'd done ok with 64K points... lol that doesn't even compare to some of the scores I've seen!

That's a great idea to add extra pages! I have some souvenier fast passes the CM's were nice enough to let me keep - those would be great to add! :thumbsup2

I saw one DISers from 2 years ago and she had Disney type embellishments, I am assuming she was good with photoshop and layering?

I figure once I get my PP+ CD I can upload and start playing around. I am sure to be bugging you guys for hints and tips!! :goodvibes:

Years and years ago Mixbook used to have a Disney themed book option, but I guess Disney finally got wise and realized they could make more being the ONLY place that would let you do a photo book with Disney trademarked stuff.

If you're good with Photoshop you can copy images off the internet and use them, but, this violates a ton of copyright laws and the images online are usually not of sufficient quality to print. Also, it's a total PITA! I'd imagine if Disney ever made a CD of clip art images and sold it like they do that stock photo CD they'd make a fortune off of it with all the digital scrapbookers out there now!

I wonder if I could upload that CD of stock photos to one of those sites....

OK! Leaving for the airport in a few minutes. Let the vacation begin!

:cheer2: How exciting- have a great time!!

We are leaving in nine days and I need to get going- the trip is a surprise and I am trying to keep everything under wraps. Got home early today so I got all the gifts out to make sure we had everything- you know, from us and from a certain someone else :santa: I have been working on our clue cards for the big reveal- should put things away soon as my DS11 will be home soon. Love seeing the weather forecast- hope the warmer temps stay for at least two more weeks.

I think my DH is getting excited too. We are good planners together- he was maping out the driving route last night, and I have been the one doing all the Disney planning (he really does not care). So I asked him last night if he wanted to look at the menus of where we will be eating- his response was "How do you know where we will be eating?" :rotfl2: Oh honey, it is called an ADR and I made them in JUNE.

Nine more days :cool1:

That's a good idea to scrap into your photo book :-)

I think snapfish has Disney themed books/pages now (princess & pooh, I want to say)

Too funny!! Good thing you were planning or it sounds like your family would be doing all counter service. :goodvibes

You're right!

Just went to Snapfish website and they actually have many Disney themed items - don't know what's actually available to put into the photobooks but they do have Disney products such as Mickey and Friends, Cars, Princesses and Pooh & Friends.

Also, right now there's 50% off photobooks through 12/14 on Snapfish...

there, I've done my good deed for the day... :goodvibes

We were suppose to leave on our vacation next Thursday at 6am. Just got information that my oldest DS has graduation stuff going on Thursday..and he cannot miss it :( Would have really been nice to know this in advance. We won't be able to leave until 11am..just soo bummed. Anyone have any spare pixiedust: I could really really use some... :sad2:
