Parks to DTD?

We'd be using the ME exclusively while at WDW. Are there any busses from any of the parks, to DTD, or would we first have to take a bus to a resort and then to DTD? If this is the case, are there any resorts that are particularly close to DTD, or have good bus service there?

A connection is required. In a few cases one leg can be done on foot (no pun intended). For example walk from Magic Kingdom to Contemporary resort and take bus to Downtown Disney from there.

Another walkable segment is from the rear of Epcot (International Gateway) to Beach Club and then take the bus.

Or for a different experience, take a bus to Port Orleans Riverside and transfer to a boat to DTD.

Nope no busses from any of the parks to DTD. You can take the bus from any park to Saratoga Springs and walk over, or when leaving Mk walk over to the Contemporary and take their bus to DTD.
